There's news that one of the marquee matches is going to be Cena/Taker. A match we all wanted to see... a while ago. The streak is over, Taker is a shell of his former self AND he already had a proper send off. Ignoring all of that and assuming this match does happen... do you want to see it?

Should have been last year. Neither man really gains or loses anything. The only thing really up for grabs is Cena can be one of only three men to beat Taker at a mania but that isn't enough to make me care. Just on paper it sounds like a horrible idea.

I want Cena vs Joe

Nope. It became pointless after Undertaker's streak ended. The whole intrigue I had in the match was weather Cena was going to be the one to break the streak and the crowds reaction during the match as I feel he would have been the one most would have believed would have broken it, so the reaction would have been one of the all-time greats for a match.

I'd feel insulted if they were to bring Taker back after that send off only to job him out to Cena. I don't know if I'd even want to watch that.

It's gonna be a stinker unless it's less than five minutes.

If I was on the current roster, I would be completely insulted by this. Vince has to realize he can't keep dragging Taker back in the fold. He has to start focusing on building current talent to star status.

Sure, why not? It would have been better five years ago, but at this point it would be the biggest match left for either of them. I can understand that Taker would want to do one more match if he's feeling up to it, considering what a garbage match the Roman match ended up being, and if he's gonna do it, Cena is literally the only guy that I'd really want to see him face. Put both of them on their own part-timer island as a special attraction and go about your regular business.

I have no idea who would actually win the match, since John will go off to do movies and Taker will just go off, so that'd be pretty cool. The Undertaker is the Undertaker, and it's Wrestlemania, so I have no problem with pulling him off his couch one more time. And I'd honestly rather see Cena tied up with Taker at Mania than showing up every three weeks while a full-timer tries to carry a feud. The only preferable option I'd really be interested in for Cena at Mania would be Joe, but with Joe's injury I don't know if he'll be able to carry the full-time end of that buildup. You can always do that at a Summerslam or something.

He should have retired before he ended the streak, and after the streak it all became so pointless. Sometime around February he stumbles out to the ring and pointa to the Wrestlemania sign in an arena. And then we get a crawl speed match at mania. Ugh, just go away.

it's a dream match and the promos/entrances will be amazing and I'll be happy with that. it's not going to be a 5 star match or anything. seeing 2 of WWEs mega stars battle it out at mania will be a real mania moment. Taker should go after this match though

I'm still pissed taker vs sting didnt happen and they had the chance to do it (Sting should of Siad when he signed his wwe contact it was Taker or nothing but he didn't)

according to Meltzer it's still planned and will be made offical in a few weeks

I didn't understand what the Undertaker was doing last night. Was he announcing his retirement? Was he announcing his intent to retire someone? I had no idea what was happening with that awkward promo.

He's old and confused. He probably doesn't know either. Looked like he forgot to where his life alert too. Hopefully someone helped get him back to the home afterwards.
