In about 25 minutes, the Falcons and Eagles will square off in the first of four divisional playoff games.
I predict Eagles/Vikings for the NFC crown, and Jags/Pats in the AFC.

Big task for the Eagles with the way the Falcons defence has been rocking in recent weeks.

Ajayi's gotta hold on to that ball, like he would his newborn kid. Can't let go of that.

Eagles need to adopt the Falcons ideas. Short high-percentage pass plays mixed with effective running. Eagles running game is good enough to do that and the defence is strong enough to keep the score low and the game tight.

Eagles did everything in their power to make sure the Falcons scored.

I have a bad feeling the refs are gonna help Atlanta. That UR penalty was to Sanu's shoulders, not his head.

This 4th quarter should be a fun one. Eagles up 12-10. How much will that missed XP hurt them?

The Falcons failing is almost as enjoyable as the Panthers succeeding.

Patriots and the Foxborough flags, refs swing the game calling OPI on a 5 yard bump, really makes watching games less enjoyable.
Crap, and now again letting NE false start and calling it on the defense to give them a 1st rather than punting. Just isn't even fun.

Looks like another Patriots Superbowl win is inevitable. Yawn. Can't wait until Brady retires. On another note, so happy Atlanta lost to Philly. I will forever hate them for collapsing to New England in last years superbowl and making Tom Brady even more of a legend. Fuck you atlanta, you deserved this.
I'm hoping Pittsburg wins tomorrow as I think they are better suited to maybe at least keep it interesting with the Patriots next week. As for the NFC side...please god let it be the Vikings.

Philly and Minny in the NFC Championship game without Wentz? Please no. I just want to see the Saints take care of business as I would love to watch them in the Super Bowl against any of the remaining AFC teams. The Saints are the only interesting team left in the NFC. I am not interested in Foles vs Keenum.

I'd have to cheer for the saints against New England but that is about it. Well I'd cheer for them over the Steelers and that rapist QB.

Easily the biggest Vikings game since the 2009 NFC Final. History has shown that the sport isn't very kind to Minnesota. So many missed opportunities and what ifs, could it all be building up to this? Could Minnesota create history and become the first team to win the Superbowl in their own backyard?
It's a question not many people had in mind at the start of the season, let alone in the forth week of the season where boom rookie Dalvin Cook suffered a torn ACL. With Bradford in doubt and Bridgewater in the process of returning from a horrific knee injury of his own, many doubted whether Keenum could hold up his end of the bargain and move the chains for the Vikings. However with an improved offensive line and an incredible defensive unit, the Vikings rallied and pieced together one of the best campaigns of any team in Season 2017.
In a year where many teams suffered misfortunes, the Vikings shined in the face of adversity.
They've got their work cut out for them against the Saints. For years, the Saints were often disregarded as a one man team and simply didn't have the balance to match it with the best teams in the competition. This year they made inroads with a much improved running game and a defensive unit capable of holding their own. They haven't been as consistently as strong as the Vikings, but most critics are banking on their upside to get them the win.
In true Vikings fashion, I expect this to go down to the wire. I'm just hoping that fortunes will turn and the Vikings will finally be on the right end of one of these close games.

Todd I'm digging that av brah Unbelievable player. You know after I picked Texans as my team, Watson's knee gave in and we won 1 game the rest of the year. Hopefully I'm not a curse. High hopes next year man. If the defensive individuals are as effective as they can be, Watson and Hopkins on offense can take us to the promised land. Tennessee were an average team that found themselves in the play-offs, they were always going to get battered.

Watson really did come in and breath life into a dead franchise. All they had for so many years was JJ Watt, who granted is a hell of a player who analyst couldn't stop from tripping over themselves to suck his dick but still you need that top level QB if you want to be a play off threat for multiple seasons. With Watson I could see that...but then again you never know. A few great performances or even a great season doesn't guarantee long term success. I mean people were tripping over themselves to shower Dak Prescott as being the next big thing at QB and he turned in a pretty forgettable season this year with Zeke not as effective or on suspension. I guess your only as good as the players around you...or your Tom Brady and everything you do is just perfect because he's so perfect. I fucking HATE Tom Brady.!!!! Stop being so perfect!

Forgetting about wins and losses this years games against New England and Seattle were the best Texans games ever played. The fact that you chose the Texans just made my whole day.

The Eagles/Falcons game was quite a bit of fun towards the end , props to Foles for playing as well as he did down the stretch. I still don't trust him next week against either the Vikings or the Saints but who the hell knows with the way this season is going. It's crazy how the Falcons can be so good and so bad depending on the direction the wind blows. Literally and Figuratively. It's crazy that they can't find a way to get Julio the ball in the redzone EVER , it's crazy that for as "great" of a player as Julio supposedly is - he can't beat single coverage in the red zone against someone like Mills.
Is Julio quickly becoming the most overrated player in the NFL? I mean he's not bad by any means and teams would kill to have his talent but he's constantly talked about as the best receiver in football and people take him over Brown. Seems to me like he is wildly inconsistent , his hands especially and the best receiver in the game shouldn't be taken out of the game so frequently. And he certainly shouldn't be a non factor in the redzone - that should be where he DOMINATES. I think he's top 5 - 8 - but no longer does he just get thrown in the conversation as the best or top two for me.
The second game was whatever. The Titans gave the Patriots a shot in the mouth to begin the game but it was their best and only shot. I stopped watching mid way through the third. It sucks that the Titans made the playoffs and then won their first game - Mularkey is there to stay and that's not a good thing for Mariota or the franchise.

This is a hugely interesting game given Jags defence killing the Steelers earlier in the season. Two completely different ideologies, fantastic football match-up.
Have a horrible feeling Jags will win. Not that I dislike the Jags, but I would rather a competitive AFC Championship game.

There's an argument to be made that the Jaguars would give the Patriots a better matchup than the Steelers could. The Steelers could potentially turn the game into a shootout but I don't seem them beating New England.
Jacksonville's defense could at least slow down Brady and that offense , they have Ramsey who they could at least throw at Gronk and the best way to beat Brady is to get pressure with your front four , which the Jaguars can definitely do. Jacksonville is a way better version of what Houston was last season and Houston beat the hell out of New England. I would give the Jaguars a punchers chance against New England and think it would be more of an interesting game.

Honestly I don't see either troubling the Pats but the Steelers at least have multiple offensive strengths. Bortles is too erratic to score heavily in a game of that magnitude and it's tough to see even the Jags defence shutting down post-season Brady.

Honestly I don't see either troubling the Pats but the Steelers at least have multiple offensive strengths. Bortles is too erratic to score heavily in a game of that magnitude and it's tough to see even the Jags defence shutting down post-season Brady. Again , the Houston defense gave Brady fits last year. He was 18/38 , 2 Touchdown and 2 Interceptions with a 65 QB Rating. And watching that game it definitely wasn't "playoff Brady" - he was strugging and getting his ass kicked. And this Jacksonville defense is much better all around IMO than Houston last season. Blake Bortles is a scary X- Factor because he could swing the game the totally wrong way , but he isn't any worse than Osweiler and is playing the game with a defense that could slow down the Patriots more than any other team in the NFL could. The Patriots could definitely win , but I'd see it as more of a 17-13 type game. As for the Saints and Vikings game , I hope the Saints crush that pathetic fanbases dreams today , I hate that team and so many of it's fans. The Saints are going to have to get out to an early lead though , Minnesota isn't a team that is built on coming from behind , offensively or defensively. If Minnesota jumps out to a lead though it could be curtains for the Saints. Their pass rushers and secondary could make life hell for Brees.
