I feel so bad for the Titans.
Malik Willis ain't taking that job away with this sloppiness.
I just want one highlight play man, this is just rough.
Two ex Pat guys in McDaniels and Vrabel just going to fight to avoid 0-3 disaster next week.

Monday night Cousins failures, I don't think it's enough to keep me glued. Might get the Splatoon 3 ready boys.
He's got some hilariously bad win percentage on Mondays, too lazy to see how many MNF games MIN got trolled on this year.

This is the lone MNF game for the Viks, NFL did them a real solid.

This is easily the best I’ve ever seen Hurts play.

Josh Allen is 3rd all-time in Bills rushing TDs behind only Thomas and OJ. That’s insane. I had no idea.

Movement is a relief. Hope whatever happened isn’t long term. Bills defence has so many players down right now.

Cousins has to be drunk tonight. WHat the hell is he doing? Took like five tries but Slay got his 2nd INT tonight.
If Jefferson isn't there, stop feeding him for the sake of it.

So much for this “explosive” Vikings offense we were supposed to get this season. Same ol shit.

So much for this “explosive” Vikings offense we were supposed to get this season. Same ol shit. I really like this Eagles defense, just ran into a pretty good(so far) Lions offense. That and Cousins is a mental midget on this type of stage and has proven it time and time again. Think they will be okay. Speaking of that though, yeah the Bills/Dolphins game will be a shootout but that DET/MIN Week 3 game is a lowkey shootout I think too. In a dome too? Yeah. Time to see how good Detroit is this year.

I appreciate Cousins giving Slay multiple bad jump balls to go after.

I guess we were due for some blowouts after all the Sunday craziness. I picked the right day to stay home and be plugged in.
Main takeaways for me tonight are that Buffalo's d-line is legit (like they needed another strength) they were living in the backfield again tonight and Tannehill and Henry had no chance from the jump, while the Eagles o-line is absurdly good, Hurts gets all the plaudits for his career game but it's largely credited to the protection, play after play he had all day back there.

Yeah but Hurts has had great protection in the past and didn’t play the same. No matter what he would go one read and run - last night you could actually see him hitting other reads besides #1 , which is a huge step up for him. Not saying it’s going to be the norm going forward because the Eagles largely controlled that game but it’s a positive sign for a quarterback I had very little faith in.

Not saying it’s going to be the norm going forward because the Eagles largely controlled that game but it’s a positive sign for a quarterback I had very little faith in. Oh yes I probably phrased that in a way that downplayed his contribution - tonight was definitely a proof of concept of what their offence can be - I just meant to say that if Hurts isn't able to deliver that type of performance with all of these pieces around him then you would have to be concerned about what his ceiling is. Having that protection has allowed him to develop in a confident manner as he's gained experience and see the field as you allude to, it's the old 'the game is slowing down for him' cliche - whereas other young quarterbacks who are constantly under pressure aren't able to flourish because they are just focused on avoiding disaster most of the time. I think surrounding cast just matters so much and never gets the attention it deserves because it's easier for people to go 'wow QB X is awesome, lol QB Y sucks ass'. On a pure talent level I don't think there's much between Hurts and Fields (for example) but their situations just couldn't be more polar opposite.

For sure, supporting cast is often overlooked in a quarterbacks success even as they get older. It’s even more glaring when they are still young and growing. Tua is only going to continue to prove this as well.
Coaching and structure is huge as well. Mahomes is as talented as anyone in the world playing football but people are foolish to think he hasn’t benefitted greatly but being paired with Reid. LaFleur revitalized Rodgers career as did Tampa with their roster and weapons with Brady.
I think Herbert and Burrow have done a remarkable job of overcoming some shit coaching to still be as good as they are this young. Lombardi runs a terrible version of that offense and Taylor might be one of the worst coaches in the league who just happened to fall into a franchise quarterback.
