Feel good moment of the year.

It was really a good moment. I was hoping it would go that way, and brought a smile to my face when it did.

Sami gots some real support now.

Not me about to cry when Sami Zayn got his new shirt.

I’m never going to forgive Roman if he betrays him. Never.

Someone give me the cliff notes on Sami Zayn/Roman Reigns. I'm intrigued.

He's basically weaseled his way into the group by being their lacky and taking the fall a few times.

But long term storytelling : it's creating a riff between The Usos. Remembering there was already tension amongst them going back a few years to the beginning of the storyline.

I'm still convinced Sami will turn on them. The Bloodline will outnumber 5 to 3 babyfaces and Sami will cross no man's land and join the good guys. They did a fantastic angle in NXTUK with Dragunov being groomed for Imperium and he'd turn to side with Gallus. I think that is what will happen here.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure how/when Sami first tried getting in with the Bloodline but he's essentially been a groupie/tagalong for months now. Zayn was originally a loudmouthed cowardly heel who talked big when (he thought) the Bloodline had his back but was the first to run -- but in recent weeks has been right there taking his lumps for the faction.

In an inspired bit, Creative made the call to have Jimmy like him but Jey absolutely despise him. (Possibly related: Jey was the first one to ally with heel Roman and was the Right Hand Man when Jimmy was out injured. Maybe feels threatened?)

The new guy, Solo Sikoa/Usos' younger brother, seems all in on Sami so for now it seems that, unlikely as it is, Sami Zayn has been fully accepted as an Honorary Uce.

Very smart creative to release a 'honorary uce' shirt. I'd imagine it won't be long until half the audience is wearing one.

The new Bloodline shirt is also great.

I barely watch and don’t know anyone else that does watch and have no interest in explaining it yet I have considered buying this one.

Funny you say Sami's role is to stand back and shut up, that seems like the last thing Sami is able to do. He's a motormouth!

Fortunately WWE have a YouTube playlist of the cliffnotes which I have been thoroughly enjoying. This dates all the way back to April! Wow! Unfortunately the WWE playlist was made in June, so there's still several months of content I had to research on YouTube one video at a time.

The segment from last Friday was amazing. Sami Zayn was so incredibly crushed, I was feeling for him. Then he got given the new shirt...yes! Interesting that Jey still hates him, even though the rest of the tribe have acknowledged him. I also love the dynamic that Jimmy loves Sami, Jey hates him, yet this doesn't impact the relationship between the Usos at all. They respect each other's differences.

However taking a different perspective, we know that the segment was written that way for maximum dramatic tension, but take that away and it doesn't make much sense. What's the kayfabe explanation for Roman Reigns baiting and switching Sami like that? Why didn't he just give Sami the new shirt after he asked Solo to acknowledge him? He could have done the same thing thing to Solo - "The elders sent you, but I don't accept you, get the fuck out." before welcoming him back in. Why treat one person one way and the other person the other way? I can't think of an in-kayfabe explanation.

jTjohncenaGOAT because Sami is a complete outsider, Reigns was likely (from a kayfabe perspective) testing his response. And it's not uncommon for guys just to be pricks. You could imagine that same scenario in a biker setting, a probate being told to take his proby patch off in dramatic fashion, then given his full cut.

And that potentially could lead to the downfall of The Bloodline. Uso #1, Solo and Reigns may do it themselves, or get some joy out if seeing Sami eaten alive, while Uso #2 is a gutted seeing his buddy sacrificed.

Either way, Sami becomes the biggest sympathetic babyface of his generation as a result.

Dude I so want Sami to just be Nation Kid all growed up.

I never thought of this as being Sami being the catalyst that would break up the BL. I always assumed this is the first step in Sami/Owens getting the tag titles. What if it’s the first step in Sami/Roman and the end of the BL?

My other thoughts were (and, we're getting into fantasy booking here) is that Sami is a plant by KO, to eventually unravel The Bloodline from within and will turn on Reigns to give KO the assist.

Think of the dynamic in the group if one of the Usos is convinced Sami is a turncoat and, the when the smoke clears and the dust settles after a wild Bloodline v Babyface brawl and then Sami comes charging to the ring - picture this, KO in one corner, Reigns in the other - who will he side with? Bang! Helluva Kick to Roman, Irish Whip, Stunner.. new Champion in KO.

Sami is not really built to be world champion in the one belt WWE. He could take the title but his reign would not be long or really meaningful.  This story gives him a program at the top though, which is better than he has gotten so far from WWE.

Makes me wish djm still posted or even followed wrestling still. In the Generisteen war he was always pro-Generico so it'd be nice if he got a win.

That segment on Raw was killer. Sami is hilarious and everybody loves him, rightfully so.

Starting to feel bad for poor Jey Uso.

Just sharing a beautiful work of art.

Sami has done something no one else over the last 15 years could... distinguish for the fans which one is Jimmy and which one is Jey.
