I'm pretty confident Toronto can get past Seattle. The Mariners have a better bullpen but home field advantage was a factor in their series this year. Toronto went 2-1 when they played in TO and 0-4 in Seattle. And if we're being realistic, that was right in the middle of their slump and if Toronto was playing like themselves they would have won at least 1 or 2 of those games.

Here's hoping they pull it off. GO JAYS GO!

I have never seen Mad Max get lit up the way he did tonight, he was an absolute nightmare whenever he pitched for DET or even WSH. He owned Yanks so many times. 4 homers tonight. @admin. mikec(Mizzou tag).

Manoah ran his mouth and embarrassed himself tonight. He was completely off his game after the 2-run HR in the first. I hope he’s humbled and can bounce back if Toronto somehow pulls this off.

Everyone was garbage tonight though. Sometimes you have to dig deep and find a way to bail out your pitcher. Toronto has the tools to do that but nobody stepped up. Granted, Seattle has good pitching, but a team with that many bats should not get shut out at home in a postseason game. Absolutely awful all around. What a let down.

I think Scherzer has been pitching injured but it was still a terrible time to have his worst start of the season. The Max-deGrom-Bassitt trio was supposed to be the lynchpin but it’s completely failed at the key moment so far. Surely Jake can deliver tomorrow?

He should not be out there if he's not fully healthy. Let Walker or whoever else get in the series.

Bass and Romero were terrible in that 8th.

Springer went all in on that dive, hope he's okay.
