Holy shit this show was insane.  The crew talked about a legendary old wrestling moment where Jerry Jarrett ripped out Mario Galento's eye in the ring then beat him with a nightstick.  For decades this story was rumored about and hinted about in books were Jarrett and Calento got into a real fight that ended with Jarrett beating Galento with a nightstick but no one really talked about it in detail and now get it from Jarrett himself.  

Story is like 14 minutes in. 

Group telling stories is Dutch, Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, Jimmy Hart and Lawyer.   

Hell yeah! I'm watching this later. It looks like fun!

It was really good. I can't wait to see what other territories they do.

I don’t know that I have a lot of interest in most of the episodes, but the Lawler-Kauffman one was great.

I been playing upcatch and yeah the Kauffman episode was great. I seen most of this via crappy youtube videos, but this is so much better with Jerry explaining the feud.

This was an absolutely unreal wrestling feud that people really should check out stuff from. Kauffman had nuclear heat. And for decades Lawler held firm that this was real and keeping keyfabe. I do love now finding out what a Kauffman improving and what was planned.  The Letterman story was hilarious.

Also can say for sure no one sold like Kauffman. Andy selling those piledrivers will never be surpassed. People were convinced Jerry legit fucked his neck up for decades.

AWA episode bored me, but the CWF episode was amazing.  The story of Hogan getting into the business was great.   First time he was in the ring, Matsuda broke his ankle.   Great stuff with Dusty too.

AWA was boring as fuck outside of a few wrestlers. Vern was pretty uncreative.

What a lineup for the Calgary episode. Bret, Abby, Dr Schulz and Bobby Bass.

Abby looks pretty good now surprisingly.  Had no idea he was close to Stu.  

Obviously Stu is a heavy focus with everyone having Stu stories.   Great story of Stu stretching a guy in his kitchen he caught trying to steal his car.  Stu stretched the kid for like 4 hours, then called his parents and gave him a job.

Also now know where Owen got his ability to do crazy ribs from.  The ribs these guys pulled were fucking insane.

So far only AWA was the only miss, and that was because AWA was kind of lame.

So hyped for next week.  Next week is Lia Maivia's Hawaii territory.   So curious which of the family members comes out for that one.

As expected Hawaii was one of the best episodes. Hilarious story about Sullivan taking a dive and demanding the ref count him to avoid winning the title, because he was afraid if he won he would not leave the arena alive.

Covers the FBI trial over booking fees and extortion and Lia's deportation, Hot Summer Night, and the culture of the island.

They did pay Lia a lot of respect which was great to see.

Some great young Rock stories.  They are even more insane than the show's take on them.

Catching up more with this. Portland territory episode is hilarious. Brought in Bushwhacker Luke, Mike Masters, Princess Victoria and Len Denton for it. Just a great panel for this and some fun stories. And fuck these guys are surreal.

Topics talked about in this are Elton Owens, Buddy Rose, Matt Borne aka Doink, the unreal Rose vs Borne feud, Princess Victoria, Piper, Stan Stasiak, wrestling commission drama, the Breakfast Club beatdown and the fall of the territory after Vince raided.

Easily the best episode so far as it is just unreal stuff and the panel is just on fire for it.

Next two episodes are Texas and Crocketts so should be interesting.
