If they hadn't wiped off the TD for the bogus OPI on Tonyan this would actually be really exciting now. Offence has shown quite a bit here in the second half with the focus on the run game, this would be enough to beat most teams.

Barring a miraculous Steelers turnaround, rooting for an Eagles/Bills bowl, that’s a game I could just watch and enjoy.

Holy shit what a line from Geno. Dude is FEELING HIMSELF Will probably get on his knees and thank John Idzik for drafting him if he downs the Jets in December. No shot he mentions Rex Ryan though. 1st place (for now) in the PW Pick Em. Yeah the Jets lost to the friggin Pats but this was a good week all things considered, 1st place in the Pick Em & Keeper League. Just gotta hold it strong. Who the hell is the Mills Mafia though? Dude is creeping the fuck up in the standings of the PW Pick Em. Todd ?

Tyler Lockett praising Geno Smith yet, simultaneously burying Russel Wilson is something I love to see. I didn't like him when he played for the just but credit where credit is due, Geno has played great this season.

Bears are smart to just break it all down. Especially not getting rid of any offensive pieces to give Justin Fields a legit crack. Get as many picks as you can possible.

Lonewolfed the Browns tonight. Had a feeling Cincy would struggle offensively without Chase tonight.

Lonewolfed the Browns tonight. Had a feeling Cincy would struggle offensively without Chase tonight. Still got the lead going into next week but this one could bite me by the end. Really thought Boyd & Higgins would be enough. Joe Woods just isn't a good defensive coordinator, shocked as the result after seeing both CIN and CLE first hand.

Why do we always lose our brains whenever we play against the Browns?

Lonewolfed the Browns tonight. Had a feeling Cincy would struggle offensively without Chase tonight. They would have lost that game with Chase. The Bengals were like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest tonight. 13 garbage time points dosen't change that.

Another big trade: Denver is dealing LB Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins for a package that includes the 2023 first-round pick that Miami acquired from San Francisco, sources tell ESPN.

Miami gets rid of Chase Edmonds who never worked for this team and they trade for Jeff Wilson.
Getting Bradley Chubb and Jeff Wilson is a solid day for the Fins.

I love how narrative-driven the NFL is. We've got all of these fantastically one-sided "rivalries" (49ers beat Rams, Patriots beat Jets, Browns beat Bengals) and now trade season seems to be petty season (49ers beating Rams for CMC, Bears beating Packers to Claypool)

Oh RT the Bills are getting Hines I like it! Hines is versatile! He's the pass catching running back they've been looking for so interested to see how he mixes with the rest of the offence and Josh Allen.

Jacob Martin showed some decent potential but it was a numbers game, as he went from the Texans to Jets to now the Broncos in a trade deadline deal. Jets move up from the 5th round to the 4th so nothing major but it was maybe more so doing solid for Martin.
Jets have the emergence of Bryce Huff who all he does is put pressure on QBs, Jermaine Johnson our 1st rounder is coming back from injury and Micheal Clemons is ready for some more snaps. It was rewarding other guys who outplayed or have the potential to outplay Martin. Martin steps into a spot with Chubb gone so it works for both sides.
Absolute JOKE that Huff was a healthy scratch the 1st 3 games, Jets have gone 4-1 since he's been playing regularly. UDFA from Memphis in 2020, just been an absolute baller since arriving.

I did like Claypool as a player, he matured a bit this year compared to dancing in a losing game with the clock running...but Pitt have steady been drafting quality WR's for quite some time now, and Pickens definitely looks like the future #1, so I understand Claypool being expendable.
Once we fire Canada (preferably into space), I think the team can have quick turnaround with just one solid draft in the offseason.

Chiefs move to get rid of Fenton yesterday being branded as a salary cap move but really just a roster numbers move. They have four rookie corners they like, it came down to cutting Fenton or one of them and they tosssd Fenton. But I’m ready for the waiver wire move now that they’ve freed up a few million with this trade and the Kelce restructuring.
Also lots of talk about Toney, but whose snaps I’d he taking this year? He’s behind MVS, JuJu, and Hardman, maybe above Skyy Moore and the Watson that had been the young speed guy. His value to KC is hoping he gets up speed for next season and can be depth this year.

RagnarokMike is spot on. My belief is that Claypool may have improved a bit but not to the point that he didn't get surpassed. Thus, he became expendable.
