My wife is allergic to brewer's yeast. So there are no buns or breads in the house regularly. I follow ultramarathon running as a sport and some of the athletes will eat nutella on tortillas. So, I decided to try peanut butter on a tortilla. Works out pretty slick. A little better with honey. Last night I slapped some peanut butter on some Ritz crackers that works too.
What do you like peanut butter on? I hope it's not celery. Celery is awful and can't be masked by peanut butter. Some people say celery has no taste. Those people are just wrong.

I love Peanut Butter , I love it on toast.
It's the main ingredient in my favorite candies as well. Reeses cups , Snickers with Peanut Butter are my only two go to candy bars and it's only because of the Peanut Butter.
Occasionally I'll put it on apples as well. Sometimes I'll eat a spoonful of it. I don't care.
My mom eats a Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich which isn't bad either but not great enough for me to go through that kind of work.

This thread is too lighthearted for me.
That said though, I am pleased to learn that I wasn't a total idiot for doing Nutella on a tortilla that one time out of the blue and then turning it into a thing. Finding out marathon runners consciously eat that combo makes me feel like I'm subconsciously smart. Or at least smarter than I realize.
I'm also not anti-celery. Whether with bleu cheese as a side to chicken wings, or with ants on a log (with either a PB or cream cheese base), I'm down with the most fibruos veggie in the plant kingdom.

The only side fitting for chicken wings is more chicken wings. Don't need none of that healthy shit getting in the way.

Don't like it as a sandwich, but Ritz crackers mixed with it has been a staple in my work lunch for some time. Some people prefer the cheese variety. And that's why we hate ISIS.

For the mini Ritz crackers sandwiches, I prefer the gov't cheez variety... So now I'm confused; does that mean I'm in ISIS? Or does that make me anti-ISIS? Vaguely related aside... I once thought that I might've inadvertently started ISIS by getting champagne drunk at a wedding and then throwing up on a bunch of old Turkish grandmothers from Istanbul.

It's a stolen joke from Jim Gaffigan. I forgot what it was, but he said what do we call people who hate ___ (has to be food I imagine), al qaeda? ISIS seems more topical. BTW did Wife marry you on her own accord? Or did you steal her when you took over her providence?

I do feel fairly certain that persistence was definitely key. You just keep refusing to take "no" as an answer, and eventually their will breaks, and "no" becomes "yes". (And I mean that in the least Aziz way possible... -_-)

This is more like it. Celery and for that matter cucumber can fuck right off, watery pieces of crap.
As sad as it is, Reeses peanut butter cups aren't super common here, anytime I want one I have to go to a specialist candy shop that imports US confections.

I won't eat celery raw generally. I do like it cooked down in stews or soups. Or for anything cajun related with the holy trinity.
Cucumbers however are excellent. Sliced up with salt and pepper - delicious! Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are also a treat!
As far as peanut butter goes, Jif is the bombdiggity. Toast is the preferred vessel. Blueberry jam, or bananas, or honey, it's all good. I recently made a fried peanut butter and bacon sandwich (think grilled cheese). The trick is not to leave it on long enough where the PB becomes too runny. I didn't have any bananas, otherwise I would've gone with the full Elvis experience.
