I think Chargers fans have a right to be frustrated, there was what appeared to be an OPI by Skyy Moore (which NBC chose not to replay despite Tirico's commentary), a potential grounding penalty on a Mahomes throw away, and then the holding against James when Kelce was allowed a clear push off earlier in the game but...that ending just felt inevitable, I've seen this game too many times before.

I agree with you generally, the Kelce one was just triggering because it took me back to the Titans game a couple of weeks ago when he mugged Kalu in the endzone and got the penalty called his way - can't help but feel like it cheapens the achievement a little bit. Defenders can't win.

And before anyone says anything yes I know I'm being hypocritical by taking the opposite side of the ref argument to what I did last week. And yes I hate myself for being involved in another ref argument :lol:

Sussing out the one seed in the AFC:

Chiefs schedule rest of the way has only two winning teams left: Cinci, Seattle, Rams, Texans, two against Denver and a return match with Vegas.

Buffalo has five winning teams left with Miami, NYJ, Patsx2, and Cinci.

Baltimore only has one with Cinci, but they do play the Deshaun Watson Browns so maybe they’re better.

Tennessee has Cinci, Dallas and Philly left.

Oof for Cinci, they have a game left against all the 7 win teams in the AFC.

I agree that QBs get written off too quickly in general (you know I was banging the drum all along for Tua and Fields) but by the middle of year 2 you have to have shown something. I agree the Jets need to turn to a veteran who has proven some things all things being said. A Nick Foles esque type of QB.

Not ready to write him off but it is looking bleak. Year 1 the supporting cast was pretty piss poor, I expected more from him even with a lost preseason and couple weeks. 

He probably has owned up to it in the team meetings. Trevor Lawrence practically threw Urban Meyer under the bus every way he could, Justin Fields spoke down to fans(He apologized) and Mac Jones has been fending off Zappe for his gig. This is just overblown due to NY media.

Given the potential mismatch of CHI's OLine vs the Jets DLine next Sunday in the cold, Fields is very brave to try and go out there on a 3 win team and compete knowing he will be running for his life. Bears need to be smart and sit him until he's fully good, he has nothing left to prove. This isn't me saying this as a Jet fan either. Be smart. 

Absolutely agree that they should sit him, even if it sinks my fantasy hopes. If season ending is even being considered then it's not worth it, just get the highest pick possible (likely put yourself in a spot where you can stockpile with someone looking to trade up for Young/Stroud), draft a WR and come back and contend next season.

Well I think it's absolutely the right decision to move off Wilson, they can't jeopardise what they have been building by sticking with a guy that is letting the locker room down. By not naming a starter now I guess you have the "advantage" of keeping your opponents guessing whether it will be Mike White or Flacco.
