Lot of not particularly good stuff going on at the moment - Taylor vanishing without a trace, Deonna wasting her time with various matches against stale opponents - but the big promo segment tonight was a good one. They've written this cleverly ambiguously so that it's still not clear whether it will be Jordynne or Rachael turning heel, and Ellering is subtly really good on the mic.

I have no clue as to who is turning heel or who took Taylor, but I do like continuously pissed off Jordynn.

Lady Frost was a nice surprise. I would not mind her being brought back for another set of tapings.

Chelsea Green returns at Slammiversary. I like the LVN two face look.

Thunder Rosa and Mickey are in the Impact zone

I said maybe Tay Conti or someone from AEW to challenge Deonna, I see they do one better and offer up AEW/NWA Thunder Rosa.

Unfortunately she just seems to be a one off while the incredibly less interesting mickie James gets to feud with Deonna. . Yuck. 

I hope Thunder Rosa sticks around for this next set of tapings as part of a talent swap with NWA. Impact get Rosa and NWA gets several KOs for Empower.

This. Probably a make good deal with Impact & NWA. The biggest takeaway here is that Billy Corgan is on decent/good terms with Impact which didn't seem likely a few years back with how he exited the company. He told Ken Anderson stay with NWA or if you go to Impact for even a visit, your not coming back, that's how bad things got.

It seems like the women might be the ones responsible for this - Gail Kim is helping to produce the Empowerrr PPV.

Look's like we're back to the dark world community theater/LARP bs with Su Yung running amok again.
Donna's direction as champ still isn't something I'm excited about.
There are still a total of like 4 teams in the tag division. Two of them have already held the tag titles, and the belts hae been around for less than a year so yeah...

Kiera's put it out there that this is going to be her last taping - so that's another one of those scant few tag teams gone. This feels like a massive bust by Impact - she's repped their division as hard as anyone possibly could for a long time now - and although they finally gave her dues with the tag titles, she should have been someone that was set for a singles push and become the first true rookie to champion storyline since Madison. 

Kiera leaving kind of stings. She's really come along way since she debut. Her matches with Jordynn were great. While I enjoyed Fire and Flava it would have been nice to see her get a KO title shot.

It's criminal they never did Deonna vs Kiera. especially when we were getting matches like ODB and Havok vs Deonna instead.

I think AEW because

A) Her wife Diamonte is there and can use a tag team partner.
B) AEW needs more African American women on the show. They've got Jade Cargill who is sensational but Red Velvet is okay & Big Swole stinks.
C) She dissed Sasha Banks calling her an impersonator. Big no-no, Sasha has massive pull and even had Vince cave in to her demands.

Even accounting for the fact that women generally get a boost delivering their offence to men because of their strength advantage as bases, Taylor just looks so good in the ring. How's that reverse rana?!

The division missed her terribly when she missed the  previous taping block. She is literally the only high-flyer they have in the division. Impact needs to do what they can to work around her schedule so that she can make most if not all of the tapings.

Not that I've seen. Guessing they had them at the latest tapings so we'll probably see them in the next couple of weeks.

I never thought we'd get to a point on PW where Mickie James would introduce Melina on Impact and no one would post about it. :lol:

It was sad to see Fire & Flava break up but they went out with a good match. Let's hope that Tasha and Savannah (anyone know anything about her?) can be the Beer Money to F&F's AMW.

I'm still speechless. I mean I rewatched that segment several time and I'm still waiting for one of Mickey's boobs to pop out.

Hope we get Kiera vs Tosha at some point before Kiera leaves.

Fuck yes Madison is back again! Week/month/year made. Madison vs Taylor makes me feel like I'm 20 all over again.
