Not expecting huge traffic here since no one has talked about the KOs since we moved, but against my better judgement I watched the stuff on Impact tonight and it actually wasn't bad.

• Allie's promo was decent and without having seen any of it I think the storyline they've written for her has been fairly decent. Does look kinda weird that the title challenger and the interviewer look like they could be sisters though...
• The slow-mo camera they use for their video packages now is pretty cool.
• Rosemary has a good look but is just average in the ring. F5 for a finisher is cool though. Her promo was eh - kinda needs to commit to the crazy gimmick a bit more I think.
• Hania's debut was cool and it makes the news that she has already been fired more disappointing.

You missed the best of Rosemary.

Allie has been the best thing going for the KOs. She’s the one talent that WWE needs to poach.

I agree about Rosemary. Good character but she’s older and isn’t as memorable a wrestler as some of the fresher talents.

I hope Taya returns soon. I want the feud with Rosemary to continue.

Rosemary promo problem is similar to Sasha. She has a heel gimmick but was turned face due to how over she was as a heel. Rosemary promos and booking with Decay were so much better.

Hania is claiming she quit, and wasn't fired.

Either way, she refused to job out. She's not Trish Stratus and with this attitude, she won't get to WWE.

The Genesis title match was decent enough but nothing really special. Kinda reminded me of a circa 2010 Eve Torres diva championship match where things were OK but never clicked up to the next level. I wonder how they will deal with Laurel dropping the title now?

Interested to see if Scott D'Amore being back in the creative department from the next set of tapings makes any difference to the watchability.

I like how Van Ness' character has evolved. From her mannerisms to her offense she's turned out to be pretty fun to watch.

She asked for her release the night she won the belt...but wasn't granted it until weeks later. She's gone now.

Is that confirmed? I'm just going off what I watched last week. I have no idea that Van Ness isn't champion since I rarely read spoilers.

Another Impact Wrestling departure has occurred, as Laurel Van Ness announced that she’s been granted her release from the company.

Van Ness aka Chelsea Green tweeted saying, “I have been granted my release, am excited for the future, and I can’t wait to see what 2018 holds.”

Green was signed to a contract in 2016 but really began to take off as a character the following year due to her messy, not married, drunken, maniacal bride gimmick.

I'd like to see Chelsea in WWE as you'd think her premature exit would indicate. She's got a great look, is clearly quite charismatic, and is decent enough in the ring that she would make for a solid addition to the roster. NXT is still looking fairly thin so new additions are definitely wanted.

Allie's secret admirer could make for an interesting storyline depending on where they take it. Unless I'm missing something we genuinely don't know who it is yet?

FWIW I think she is probably the best babyface character on TV at the moment.

I was a bit unimpressed to be honest. I know she was working as a heel so that limited some of the cool stuff that she could have done, as I remember her high flying/athleticism being impressive, but overall I didn't feel like she'd really improved a great deal over the past few years.

And that outfit was a complete mess. 🤐

Yikes, I think that's worse. She was serving trashy stripper in the skin colour and fishnets with her thong off to the side.

Laurel's character is really great; she manages to act her whole Courtney Love thing with just the right about of silliness without going completely over the top. Some of her expressions in this week's segment were absolutely hilarious.

The Allie title win was a decent if not spectacular match.

Laurel got a bit sloppy with her offence at one stage and Allie had to sell for some really weak looking stuff like a stomp that completely missed and the Mr Perfect neck snap.

I would have liked to see the Unprettier on the floor from a different camera angle, from the only one they showed it was hard to tell whether it was a fantastic looking sell from Allie or actually really weird looking.

Finally, surely Death Allie Driver makes more sense as a name than Allie Valley Driver?
