While I don't pay a whole lot of attention to Impact... I do gotta say, I love the whole DemonxBunny story with Rosemary and Allie. Honesty it's probably one of my favorite things in wrestling at the moment.

Also Madison being back (again) is akways nice, as she's my all-time favortie knockout. I'm also digging Keira Hogan and Tessa Blanchard (some nice heel work so far).

Hyped! Legend back for her second career run ala Shawn Michaels in 2002.

Tessa vs Kiera was a really good little mini-feud, capped off by the good no-dq match tonight. They got Kiera over as a bit more than just the plucky young babyface adding a bit more edge/fire to her personality, while Tessa looked strong getting the win and further being established as a real badass. Good booking.

Madison proven as a creative genius, but seriously if I were WWE I'd offer her a creative role just on the wedding alone, even NT could use a female voice on the creative team honestly.

So cool, thanks for posting dex! I think it's great that Madison and Gail have taken on a big backstage role. Combine them with Scott D'Amore and Don Callis (and Sonjay and Josh) and the new Impact team is something to be very positive about right now.

I remember when they replayed the wedding a few weeks ago and I was surprised that it didn't get more hype at the time - it was a very funny segment and clearly well written with a lot of creativity. Let's hope there's more to come from Madison in the future!

I know it's easy to present the babyface as an underdog against the big bad heels but I think it's so dumb how they're pushing Madison's wins as surprises whilst simultaneously talking about how she's a five-time champion.

Josh and Don's whole wink wink we're the bookers and I'm married to Madison act on commentary is obnoxious as shit too. Just call the match.

I like the majority of things they've done lately but there's a few things that still irk me.

Yeah, not sure why they hyping Madison as an underdog (maybe we're supposed to believe she's past her prime?), when she's a multi time knockouts champion. I like that she's back though, some fresh faces to work with in Taya and Tessa.

Improving the match quality is really the next step now that they have started to get the booking under control. Tonight was particularly poor. I've always loved Madison but she isn't someone you can really rely on to bring the excitement as all of her recent matches have been basically the same thing over and over. When Tessa hit the ring for her interference you could see how much more physical and crisp all of her movement was compared to the other four girls in the tag match.

The less said about Katarina vs Rebel the better. I'm a bit bemused as to why they're still using Rebel as she really doesn't bring anything to the table, and Katarina looked just like someone who hasn't wrestled for over five years and has apparently forgotten how to run the ropes.

Signing Scarlet Bordeaux is not going to help matters. Having Diamante back in the division would help a lot since she wrestles a fast and fun style but she's injured again.

Oh I must have missed that. Was she teased on tonight's episode?

Do you know what Shotzi Blackheart is like? I know she's coming up on the next few episodes. They are really crying out for someone to wrestle a faster style. 

I'm guessing this her with the focus on red, but the girl in the teaser being blond.


Shotzi seems not very good unfortunately this is from last year. 


She looks better hear in a match from January though.




She's not the fats paced highflying face they need though.

Kylie Rae would be good pick she still needs work but she's creative 



 

Rise of the Knockouts was good. I wish Mercedes Martinez was recruited to join OG LAX.

That would be great. Mercedes is still such a badass and she put on a really good match with Tessa. 

Tessa worked well in the face role. Maybe she's the solution to the current problem Impact has - she certainly makes the most sense to take the title off Su.

I know she is retired but won't have Salinas made more sense for OG LAX. But never know they could had tried.

It is more that Salinas was part of the group doing the original run. Plus that was 2016 in TNA not many people were watching the normal show let along a ppv.

Yes BUT as HR pointed out, Salinas isnt in-ring material.

I vote Mercedes because if Diamante gets healed up and can compete..I wouldn't mind an intergender match between LAX and OGLAX.

Or even a singles match with the ladies. I liked the little bit I have seen of Diamante and I've loved Mercedes since SHIMMER vol 1

Technically Salinas didn't do that match it was Shelly Martinez. But yeah if they use the women in full matches then Shelly probably won't do that well in 2018. I was just concern with how people receive replacements in teams and factions in wrestling.

After Rise of the KOs I think Mercedes would be received well, especially with the new direction Impact is taking.

If she debuted and attacked Diamante with the OGs backing her up, I think the crowd would eat it up.

With the LU working agreement Ivelisse might be a option to put with Original LAX.

Shotzi's first match was decent enough. She did a few different things in the ring, like that submission hold. The whole wolf howl and "who's your daddy?" thing though - yikes. I'm not sure she'd be someone that would make a huge difference to the division's quality, and she's injured now anyway so perhaps might not get the chance.

I liked Tessa's promo after attacking Allie, and the Madison/Su segment was amusing in a goofy way - the new interviewer Alicia didn't last long! They are undoubtedly doing a good job keeping two or three separate storyline threads going on a >2 hour weekly show.

They've added Tessa vs Allie to Slammiversary as well which is nice. You'd expect Tessa would win and become the pseudo #1 contender but it's not immediately clear who she'll face. I'd be surprised if they have Su drop the title this quickly, but Tessa beating Madison for the title makes more sense from a story arc perspective.

"Your friend is dead!" is a strong contender for line of the year.

Adison isgreat and all but i really dont want her as champon. Not with so much good talent in impact now.

I don't think Madison is going to win the title. She is a top notch talent that brings some star power to Impact fans. I view her more as a filler and a change of pace. She is a quality opponent for Su and and a good short term option. She give fans a little break from Ally and Rosemary being on top and allows them other options.

I wouldn't mind Su being champion for 3-5 more months then Tessa winning the belt in a multi-KO match later on.

Tessa name feels like it is popping up everywhere these days and feels like she is feuding with everybody at the same time. Maybe I just haven't been watching IW in a while and it only seems that way to me. Hating when they start jumping to random other promotion even mid match sometimes.

Well Tessa is current champ in RISE. I'm hoping her and Mercedes feud awhile

Sienna is gone. Decided not to renew her contract when it expired.
