Another really positive build show this week. They're putting some real effort into the production level for these segments. I particularly liked the touch of using Madison's Killer Queen music in the background as she came back into consciousness in the funeral home! Looking forward to seeing the two Slammiversary matches.

I enjoyed the tag match but Allie's SuperKix to Tessa was shitty.

I think she might have actually hurt herself doing that (or at some other stage around that point) because she was quite slow from then on and the ref was checking on her quite a bit at the end.

Looked like she was standing too close, too.
I hope it wasn't too serious of an injury.


Always fun watching Kiera Hogan

Tessa is a very good talent, almost to the point where you would think it outweighs any potential attitude problems. Her match with Allie was great.

Su on the other hand kind of sucks, the sooner they get the belt off her and on to Tessa the better.

Echoing the praise for Tessa vs Allie which I really enjoyed. It's the best knockouts match I've seen since I started watching again. Tessa is just fantastic to watch. Her intensity and crispness shines through with literally every movement she does in the ring. She hits the ropes harder and faster than any American woman I think I've ever seen, she strikes hard, and she sells everything 100%. There was a moment towards the end of the match where Allie gave her a fairly weak whip into the corner, and she absolutely flung herself into the buckles like she'd been tossed by Brock Lesnar. She's absolutely busting her ass at the moment and it's fun to be along for the ride.

Madison vs Su was never going to be an amazing match but I certainly don't think it was bad. I think they should have doubled down with the bridesmaid interference and done even more spots of Madison fighting them off to create openings for Su. I wonder if Madison getting put in the coffin was their way of writing her out for her rumoured MYC appearance.

Really nice presentation tonight too with all the lighting and the raised hard cam facing the ramp. Impact is really on the way up at the moment. Intrigued to see where they go next at tomorrow's tapings.

I'm just glad Maddie lost.

Im expecting Rosemary to return and dethrone Su in the near future. Then Tessa vs Rosemary.

I gave Rebel some shit for her last match but she looked a lot better this week with Tessa (maybe that's why) so if she can continue like that I have no problem with her being the face jobber.

Scarlett's debut interview was hilarious. She might not be the answer to the in-ring problem in Impact, but she's good on the mic but her character is a lot of fun. The fact that they had a fan blowing her hair the entire time was fantastic.

I feel like Scarlett has to end up managing someone at some point. Maybe she'll scout some wrestlers and be paired with someone.

I thought it was one of her better looking ones.

I am so much more invested in Tessa and Scarlett than anything WWE is putting out at the moment.

I rag on Josh a bit but his "JB has aged terribly!" line was tremendous.

Reading this last page makes me wanna check out more of Tessa. I really liked her MYC match and thought it was arguably the best in the whole thing.

You really should Ness, Tessa Blanchard is great as a heel, hands down the best female talent in whatever the company is calling themselves these days.

Another Knockout I'm really liking at the moment (well since she debuted) is Keira Hogan.

A nice match between Tessa and Alisha this week. I'd like to see Alisha in the division a bit more if her role in her husband's storyline is over, she's not bad at all (and obviously better than Rebel).

I still want Rebel to wrestle. She definitely has potential.

Alisha vs Tessa was fun.

Tessa just seems to make everyone better.

Its almost like Impact needs to bring in different talent to feed her. Maybe a knockout or two from the past that the fans would know and be familiar with. Just to keep thing fresh and not burn through all of the current Knockouts.

Tessa won the title at tonight's tapings - pinning Allie in a triple threat

I love that "bizarro world" isn't just a WWE thing. Watching the Tessa match from this week and she's getting cheered and Josh said Toronto was a strange crowd. I'm just gonna file that with samoan heads as one of my favorite wrestling tropes.

Looks like Tessa won the belt and I kinda hate how she did. Now granted I've only been keeping up with her/Impact for a month or so, but they kept building her as next level so to see her win with a cheap-roll with tights is kinda lame. Yeah yeah she's a heel and all that, but still kinda ruined things for me.

Tessa did well against Madison, Chelsea and Britt @ All In.

I didn’t realize how bulky and strong Tessa has gotten. Her wrestling style is much different now from when she first started. Every move she pulled had such impact.

I love that Britt Baker has made a gimmick out of her degree lol

That's really her biggest asset that makes her stand out so much. Even compared to the other elite athletic level women on TV at the moment, everything Tessa does looks like it actually hurts, and she's actually fighting her opponent rather than just doing choreography. Her low sliding forearm is a great example, a move that quite a few other ladies do, but Tessa really lays it in.

I wonder what's next for Su. It feels like she has run out of things do and is in a holding pattern until Rosemary returns to action. Even during her title reign, she felt overshadowed by Allie nevermind Tessa (which is way more understandable}

I haven't got the sense that she's been overshadowed at all - just that they've done a really good job lately of booking the entire division so that everyone gets a bit of time rather than putting all the attention on one person all the time. I don't expect them to do a full blown feud but Su hasn't interacted with Tessa much at all so that's always an option now (especially with Su being angry that she wasn't even pinned to lose her title).

Tessa is great - managed to get a very watchable match out of Su. I really hope they can find someone for her to have a great multi match feud with during her title reign.
