I'm 2 weeks behind. I was hoping they'd change direction after Ailie saved Tessa form being put in Su's coffin but it's the same story repeated at nausea. Allie wants to get rid of Su, Tessa wants to expose Allie. It's been the same story going around in circles forever. Not only that but Aille and Tessa have been given the same lines over and over when addressing each other. Why not have Tessa form a reluctant tempory alliance with Allie to fight of Su and the bridesmaids. Tessa would be helping to eliminate a threat to her title. Maybe using this start a double turn. The fans cheer Tessa and Allie has been annoying as a constant contender/fixture in the main storyline but at least a heel turn would freshen up her character. They should have watered the seed they planted when Allie interrupted Kiera after her match.

Tessa vs Faby was a fun match. They had a few miscommunications which held it back but overall there was a lot of really good stuff. It's a shame they didn't go another 5 minutes or so to be able to tell a bit more of a story rather than just having a back and forth match.
I'd like to see Tessa add a secondary finisher that is more suitable to an "out of nowhere" win. The hammerlock DDT looks good when she's got time to lock it in but when it's rushed it doesn't really look nearly as impactful. I don't particularly like her top rope codebreaker either as one, Allie's already using the codebreaker and two, coming off the top just makes it look like it would hurt her more than her opponent.

I found Keyra really enjoyable this week - if Impact makes Mexico tapings a semi-regular thing I'd love to see more of her. Loved the hurricanrana counter into the ringpost powerbomb, great spot showcasing Tessa's strength.
Allie with Father James Mitchell is fun. I wonder if we'll see Rosemary return at BFG.

Wow, Tessa vs Taya was even better than I expected based on Taya's previous matches. Taya kicking out of the Buzzsaw DDT was literally one of the best near falls I think I've ever seen, she couldn't have timed that any better.
The Allie and Su stuff was hilarious and a much better use of time than it would have been to actually have them in a real match.

I hope to see the Tessa/Taya feud last for a while I really enjoyed that match Tessa's reaction to Taya kicking out of the Buzzsaw was priceless. Another reason I'm a fan of Tessa is a commonality that I believe she shares with Rosemary. I like the fact that Tessa can show dominance against her opponents carrying that aura about herself and while she's in a back and forth match she's able to show vulnerability.

They are making a fantastic commitment to the division at the moment. On tonight's episode we had: - Tessa beating Ray Lynn (who I really liked the look of, she's very decent in the ring) and then a promo with her and Taya setting up their title rematch.
- A Heather Monroe interview (who looks like she's got a pretty fun character) interrupted by Kiera warning her about how dangerous Su is.
- Jordynne and Katarina backstage setting up their rematch.
- Su squashing Heather with Dark Allie coming out post-match and apparently teaming up with Su.
- Plus Scarlett and Alisha involved in various storylines of their own
That's 10 different women involved in meaningful stuff on a <2 hour show!

Taya as good as she is at times it seems her facial expressions are off. Like she loses focus and jumps out of character. To the point she is trying to sell a painful move, but has a this is fun smirk on her face.
The tights are a better look on her than the swimsuit outfit she came in wearing.
All that said she is still a great addition to the KO division.

I like the implications of someone like Jordynne being pushed on TV but her match this week was a bit of a snoozer. I'll put that down to Katarina though who is just boring in the ring, and wait to see what she can do in there with Tessa.

I was pretty sports entertained by Tessa vs Taya at Homecoming. Tessa vs Gail is going to be fun when they get around to it.

This Friday Taya defends her belt vs Tessa in a street fight. I'm looking forward to this match.

Absolutely loved the street fight. It's a shame no one is paying attention to Impact anymore because this has been a fantastic rivalry - their three title matches would be up there with pretty much any series.
Tessa is just superb, she is absolutely the complete package as a performer.

The street fight was crazy good. The cookie sheet shot looked really painful.
I could use a little break from Su and Kiera. It's time to start rotating in different KOs.

Yeah, Tessa is a fantastic performer, one of the best heels in the biz today. As for the street fight, I thought it was pretty good, happy to see Taya retain, even though I'm a big fan of Blanchard as well. I probably should watch more Impact then I currently do, but I do tune in from time to time, if for nothing else than for the talent I do enjoy watching.

More fun Tessa-isms this week with her interrupting a dud match, beating up both girls and then singing her own theme song. The slow burn towards her match with Gail is being really well done.
Also, they're doing an intergender match with her vs Eli Drake on one of their upcoming specials which should be interesting.

Tessa makes everyone seem better than they actually are, but this was the first time I was actually convinced by Jordynne. I will be interested to see how she goes in her title match with Taya (who interestingly turned heel as part of the main event storyline).
I sound like a broken record in here but Tessa is just so great - beating up the bell ringer, laughing at Gail when she got suspended - I look forward to her segments every week.

I really wonder if her supposed attitude problems are real. Or if they are, are they enough to keep her from moving on to the E. It's fun watching her run the place and that may not be as prominent if she leaves.

It's fun watching her run the place and that may not be as prominent if she leaves. I think that was just one of those things that got overblown by the internet. The Stardom stuff is a few years old now when she was only 19-20, and I'm pretty sure we found out that the thing with Victoria wasn't even her - even if I would have liked it to be! We obviously don't know the full story but I think it's reasonably fair to say that she's grown up quite a lot as there hasn't been anything new since joining Impact, and she's been nothing but a professional both on screen and off it. Breaking up with Ricochet was probably a positive thing as it sounds like their relationship was fairly problematic. I would be shocked if she doesn't sign with WWE eventually but I'm certainly not desperate for that to happen instantly. Impact is as enjoyable as it's ever been right now and she's a major driving force behind that.

Dark war has been cheezy but also was entertaining and some excellent music picks. And when AEW was announced I knew impact was the one that probably needed to be worried the most.

Dark war has been cheezy but also was entertaining and some excellent music picks. And when AEW was announced I knew impact was the one that probably needed to be worried the most. Well it was reported that Impact chose to write her off/stop bringing her in rather than her jumping ship to AEW. I think they do a good job of rolling talent in an out of the roster. It means that you don't get overexposed stars, or anyone hanging around who is frustratingly not being used. In Allie's case I think it was an especially good decision, personally I checked out of this storyline a little while ago and think it's probably time for something new.

Jordynne vs Madison was a really enjoyable match this week. Grace has shown up really well these past few shows. I think it's great to have Madison back, especially as a edgier tweener character. She's freshened up her moveset a bit as well and really sold Jordynne's power moves very well.

I really liked Madison vs Tessa. Having good bases in your division like Tessa and Jordyne allows the other talents to be more creative and try different spots out like Madison's springboard rana tonight. I also liked Tessa' wheelbarrow reverse sto, and double slingshot suplex.

I really enjoyed the match too Dex! Madison seems really motivated for this run, she's freshened things up and although the majority of the offense was for Tessa that springboard hurricanrana was a big highlight.
The Gail vs Tessa storyline has been fantastic, and I love how they continue to develop Tessa's character every week. She's kept looking strong despite losing matches because on the emphasis on her losing her temper/getting distracted - the narrative is really driven strongly by Don Callis on commentary who you have always been able to tell is super engaged with Tessa's success. Commentary is so valuable in a spot like this, this same storyline would never be told as well on Raw with Michael Cole.

Tessa's segment in the restaurant this week was amazing! If she's going to start adding these kinds of iconic backstage segs to her resume on top of her matches then look out.

So Impact Wrestling's big Rebellion event is tonight, and I gotta say the card looks pretty damn good.
Taya Valkyrie, will be defending her Knockouts championship, against Jordynne Grace. Also tonight, Tessa Blanchard will be competing against the greatest knockouts champion of all-time, in the form of Gail Kim. While I'm sure the title match will be good, it's the Tessa Blanchard/Gail Kim match up, that I'm most looking forward to.

So the intergender match tonight with Scarlet was pretty fun, Scarlet seems to have improved.
The KO's title match was a little disappointing. It started out really well with Jordynne trying to kill Taya, but kind of lost its intensity as it went on and the finish was underwhelming.

Tessa vs Gail was really fun ( that stage bump especially) but felt like it could have used another couple minutes.
