I really enjoyed both matches. I wasn't convinced by Jordynne at first but she's really turned my opinion around in the past few weeks. Really enjoyed how she sold the injury to her arm even after delivering her own offence.
Tessa and Gail felt like a really special match. It wasn't all perfect but (like most Tessa matches) had a real fight feel and the story they told of Blanchard being obsessed with this match and watching so much Gail tape she was able to counter so much of her signature stuff was well done. Having Tully in the crowd and the post-match moment was a great touch.

It was a pleasant surprise seeing Taylor Wilde for the 1st time in a long time. Yes wasn't that great? Apparently she was invited to be in the MYC but she got pregnant. Cute! Someone Taylor helped train debuted at the recent Impact tapings too...

I recommend Tessa's episode of Talk is Jericho podcast from 4/26/19.

@admin, some of Impact's booking decisions at the most recent tapings are giving me pause, especially when ti comes to Tessa's follow up to the Gail feud. I think part of the problem is that the division could use a couple more new credible talents, as Tessa has wrestled almost everyone ( sans Rosemary ) already.

Yes, I'm not looking forward to anything coming up either and agree they do need to bring in at least one new addition. I thought they might be returning to do Tessa vs Taya but with the alignments reversed (and they could have added Madison to a match here and there to freshen things up further) but instead they're going with this intergender stuff which doesn't really appeal.

They should be bring in 1 or 2 different faces at each taping. Legit or jobber. Just to keep things fresh. That goes for both the KOs and the guys.

A high flyer/faster paced wrestler is what they're really missing from the roster. Kiera is really the only natural babyface but she's not at title level.

Kylie Rae would have been good but she's obviously with AEW now. I've fallen a bit behind with my knowledge of the female indy scene, but it seems like a lot of the available talents are either green or not really fast paced style wrestlers. Thunder Rosa is a fun fast paced wrestler but she isn't a natural face. Aqa is even more green than Kiera, although she's a better athlete. Santana would work though.

Impact is doing a show with ROW in July - I'm hoping that might be a gateway for AQA to get signed!

Taya vs Madison was fun, Madison keeps bringing out new stuff like the tornado DDT tonight. I like the transition from the schoolboy into the single leg crab. I also liked Taya being smart and tapping out to take a non-title loss than risking getting hurt.
Jordyne Grace's squash was fun , although I wasn't overly impressed with Nicole her strikes were really weak looking, she bumped well though.

I liked it when Taya asked Josh about his wife.
Nice Madison is kind of blah. I'm not saying go full heel, but a little heelish or more Queen B like attitude.

As great as she is I've had my fill of watching Madison Rayne. There's nothing left for her to do in the promotion.

I like Madison in this take no shit veteran babyface role. I like that she's standing up for the value of wins and losses in 2019. Taya being a non fighting champion is good storytelling as well.
Kiera going heel is a fun development and should hopefully give her a little bit more direction. She cut a good promo. "Rosemary can die just like Allie" was a great line!

The battle royal itself was really fun and creative ( sans the finish) but wow this Disco Inferno stuff is just cringe-inducing. It feels like it would feel more in place 10 years ago.

Isn't Scarlett and Kross dating? Makes sense she'd ask for her release then, as he asked for his release as well. Then again supposedly her contract expires this summer, if it were me I'd probably just tough it out for a few months, that way the door remains open in the future.

It seems like that PWI article was some fairly loaded journalism given that we are led to believe that quite a few of the Impact roster are just on short-term/pay per appearance deals rather than multi year contracts. I've said in this thread at least once that I think it's actually a real positive that they keep refreshing the roster and don't have anyone sitting around doing nothing.

Just busted it out in the middle of the match like it was a scoop slam!

God this un-dead realm stuff with Rosemary has gotten old. A lot of it just seems like it's repeating itself.

Loved it last week when Rosemary came out after Taya's match and with out saying a word made her intentions known.
I enjoy the back and forth between Rosemary and James, but the whole un-dead realm is getting a little old. Plus I'm tired of Su Young. She seems to have run her course. Maybe she can find true love, be brought back to life by its kiss, and drop the dead gimmick.
Maybe its just me but the whole Disco vs the KO division story has been great.
