The Disco stuff sucks for a couple of reasons. Firstly you're wasting nearly a month of the year Impact most likely has left with Tessa before she moves on to bigger things on a feud with a fifty-year-old never was. I think a lot of this has to do with the lack of depth in the Knockout's division as Tessa has next to no fresh matchups left so they're resorting to this intergender stuff to give her something to do when not in the title picture.
Secondly, the logic of the feud doesn't really make sense the Knockout's division up until very recently was at a high point, with the Tessa vs Gail match considered by basically everyone to be a very good match, so Disco's sexist rants don't really have an ounce of logic to them. This would be like if WWE did the Santino Marella / Santina stuff to follow up women main-eventing Wrestlemania. A storyline like this should be beneath the division.

I think the main reason they’ve done it is because they thought it would be the best way to get Tessa over as a face. Taya is really the only heel they have, and she doesn’t exactly get a lot of heat, plus Tessa already wrestled her numerous times.

Loved it last week when Rosemary came out after Taya's match and with out saying a word made her intentions known. I enjoy the back and forth between Rosemary and James, but the whole un-dead realm is getting a little old. Plus I'm tired of Su Young. She seems to have run her course. Maybe she can find true love, be brought back to life by its kiss, and drop the dead gimmick. Maybe its just me but the whole Disco vs the KO division story has been great. I still like the undead realm something ties all the the supernatural characters together is really nice I think. Though I do agree about Su Yung.

I found Tessa kicking Inferno's ass to be entertaining as fuck. Admittedly, most of this stuff with Disco has been crap, but that was entertaining.

Tessa could make anything interesting. It also helps that I find Disco annoying as fuck and I'm never against seeing him getting his ass kicked.

Kiera vs Jordyne was pretty fun, I don't know if putting three f your slowest wrestlers ( Rosemary, Taya, and now Havok) in a feud together is a really smart idea though.

I saw the Tessa Blanchard beating up OVE spot, is it me, or does that feel like something Becky Lynch should be doing as the man? Unafraid to take on anyone.

I liked Havok's return gunning Rosemary, but I did not expect her going after Taya as well. Good stuff.

I can see Jessika Havoc being some kind of hired gun by James Mitchell. Then joining O.V.E. in efforts to try and go after Tessa later down the road.

I saw Havok at one of the indy cross-promotional shows that Impact do and she looked awful. Pretty amazing that they decided to bring her back after that display that was completely devoid of any athleticism.
Kiera Hogan's burgeoning heel turn is far more interesting, I thought she had her best performance by some distance in her match with Jordynne. Her execution was really crisp.

Impact's talent evaluating when it comes to signing new women seems pretty inconsistent. You would think they would make more signings along the likes of Kiera Hogan ( talent who are pretty green but have a lot of potential and upside) , instead of signing women like Havok who probably aren't going to get any better, and might even get worse.

I like Havoc but she is pretty inconsistent. She can have a poor match followed be a solid match. She's always been that way.

While she may not be the best. Havoc does some name value. While I agree with dex Impact needs to take more chances on up and coming talent. But sometimes you need someone with a name.

Name value to whom Havok's exposure since getting turned down by WWE a for her twitter stuff and her first IW run has been minimal. I honestly didn't even know she was still wrestling. If you wanted to sign an indy talent because of their name value why not choose someone who has actually been relevant in the past couple years like Mercedes Martinez? Now part of the problem is that they needed someone who fit the mold of this whole dark war storyline that never seems to end, but even taking that into consideration I can think of numerous better picks. Holidead and Thunder Rosa as their twisted sister stag team would have been much better picks, and Rosa at least is way more relevant on the Indy scene than Havok is right now. They would definitely bring some different to these dark world matches as the likes of Rosemary, Su Yung, and Taya aren't the most exciting fast paced wrestlers.

While I think Havoc's best days are behind her she's still relevant and capable of having good matches. I loved Havoc's feud with Kimber Lee in AAW that was surprisingly fun and some of the best work Havoc's been a part of. Yeah, the dark world stuff can get tedious but I'd rather have character based angles tailored around strengths of said characters than the high school dribble WWE offers.

Really thought Impact was actually paying people decent now but recently Kross has said in an interview that Scarlett Bordeaux must live at home with her mother and have a second job. There may be more to the story but it doesn't sound good.

There may be more to the story but it doesn't sound good. She’s working maybe 6 shows a month max for Impact, should she be getting paid a full time equivalent salary? We all made fun of Taylor Wilde having to work at Sunglasses Hut but Impact barely even has a TV deal at this point.

Madison vs Jordynne was really fun as expected if slightly clunky when they were going for some of the transitions into the submissions, but still overall a fun match. I loved Jordynne's sell of Madison's finisher. Also thought Kiera was entertaining on commentary.
I've decided I'm going to ignore the dark war aspects of impact, that should help my enjoyment of the product.

I thought maybe they fixed some past issues but I guess no matter what the company calls itself something never change.

I think @admin, point is that things for IW are worse financially than they were under the Carter's, and that if they couldn't afford to give the Knockouts enough money so that they wouldn't have to have a second job back then, than they absolutely are not able to now. I mean for the bulk of the Carter's reign they were on Spike and now they're on Pursuit big step down in terms of tv money.

Isn't the talent able to pick up indi dates when not scheduled to work for Impact?

I think Scarlett snuck a little shot in at the whole contract situation during the Smokeshow this week!
Madison and Jordynne had another good match, particularly so because Madison got absolutely wrecked slipping off the apron early on. I've really done a 180 on Jordynne, at first I didn't see what the big deal was but she's been really good the last couple of months and has a refreshingly unique style. I like Kiera's direction as well, she did a good job on commentary getting her new character over. The new look, tron and music is a big step up.

I saw on Twitter this morning that Scarlett Bordeaux was granted her release from Impact Wrestling.
I wonder if that was planned ahead of time, or if this was as a result of what happened last week at AAA?

Kross has been complaining publicly on their behalf about wanting more pay so it seemed like a matter of time. It's interesting that he's staying while she leaves though - I guess they put up more of a fight to keep him around since he is in the main event picture. I'm not really sure what her plan is, I'd be quite surprised if she is able to get a WWE contract. Taya's tweet seems pretty clearly to be directed at her:

First the whole Rosemary and Sexy Star thing and now this.

It was reported that she asked for her release last month so I doubt that had anything to do with it.

Tessa has some of the best ring awareness in all of wrestling. She seems to almost always know where the hard camera is and is seldom out of position.

Very little has sparked my interest in TNA for a long time, except maybe this feud between Callihan and Tessa. I haven’t seen much, but this feels like the sort of character ‘The Man’ should be playing in WWE, obviously they are limited by WWE’s restrictions.
Callihan comes off as a real sick bastard, and there’s definitely not enough of those around any more.

I'm not a huge fan of most intergender wrestling but the Sami/Tessa feud is really entertaining.
