I loves the finish to the title match, especially the superkick.
Yay for Allie. I'll miss Laurel though

I was really enjoying the Rosemary/Taya segment until they overused the term alpha-bitch. Then I figuratively rolled my eyes in disappointment. I liked Rosemary calling Hania a she-wolf was hilarious considering how much of flame out Hainia has been in the various promotions she wrestled for. She is talented no doubt but her talent is outweighed by her drama, headaches or whatever term you want to use.

Su Yung's debut was a bit meh, especially the execution of the Panic Switch. Got to put a bit more impact into that finisher especially if you're supposed to be a psycho heel!

This week was a lot better. I love that Allie's happy go lucky character is established so well that her saying "ass" is a big deal.
They really need to run some vignettes/backstage segments to establish exactly what Su Yung's character is though.

I could be wrong about this but I believe they won't delve into Su's backstory too much since the character predates Impact Wrestling. I think they'll allude to certain things and maybe add their own twist but they won't dive into the history of the character.

Allie vs Taya from the Impact vs Lucha Underground show was a decent match - I wouldn't be opposed to them doing a full feud in Impact in the future. Nice to hear Matt Striker on commentary again, he made Josh much more tolerable than normal. I could be wrong about this but I believe they won't delve into Su's backstory too much since the character predates Impact Wrestling. I think they'll allude to certain things and maybe add their own twist but they won't dive into the history of the character. Fair enough not to start from scratch but they should elaborate on things a little bit for those who haven't seen her before. Saying "undead bride" five times a match isn't really enough to get me invested.

I thought the Taya/Rosemary hardcore match was ok. I don't feel they have a great deal of chemistry, two larger girls means relatively slow action, and they don't quite have enough intensity as brawlers to compensate (although I don't think Impact's lack of atmosphere helps here at all) but there was definitely a couple of nice spots with the piledriver through the table being rather spectacular.

I like Kiera Hogan quite a bit. She's quick and athletic and her stuff in the mixed tag match this week looked good. I'm still waiting on something from Su to get me interested in her. Perhaps she'll be able to show it in the title match against Allie. Also fairly out there news that Winter/Katie Lea will be returning at the next tapings. She was someone I didn't think we'd be hearing from again...

The person you mentioned in the spoiler box is like the textbook example of someone who women's wrestling has passed by she was decent like 8-10 years ago, but now expectations for women's matches are higher , and she just isn't good enough imo super bland. Maybe she'll just be ore of a character? She's 37 already

The two PPV matches tonight were passable if unremarkable - but the main news is that Tessa Blanchard is now a knockout. I think a lot of people were expecting to follow Ricochet to NXT, but she makes a good addition to a division that was in desperate need of some more star power. Guest commentary is a pretty clumsy way of debuting someone, but she projected her charisma and character well (if a little repetitively) and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does going forward.

I want more Kiera Hogan. She looked great last night. She's definitely got potential but still has a long way to go in terms of being polished in the ring. I like the way they've booked her as an underdog/low carder despite the small size of the division - realistically she shouldn't be around the title for at least a year.

Upcoming spoilers * Taya Valkyrie defeated Rebel via Road to Valhalla. Post-match, Taya asks for a round of applause for the return of Madison Rayne and says that next week she will show Madison why she is Lucha Royalty and Knockouts Royalty.
* Madison Rayne defeats Tessa Blanchard via roll-up. Impact: Under Pressure was on the screen for this match.
Xplosion: * Katarina Leigh defeated Scarlett Bordeaux. ---
I'm excited to see Scarlett involved. I hope she comes to Impact officially.

You've missed some pretty important stuff in your spoilers there Mistress! Su deletes Rosemary, and then goes on to beat Allie for the title in a casket match.
I'm very pleased to see Madison back in a prominent position again. It will be interesting to see how fun she can make her matches with Tessa, Taya and Su as the babyface, a really unfamiliar role for her. Her recent ROH matches suggest that the potential is there.

Tessa's beatdown of Kiera was pretty convincing so we'll see how that transfers to her matches. Taya is OK but is actually a surprisingly poor base considering her size so it would be really beneficial for the match quality if Tessa can make the faces like Kiera and Allie look better. The hammerlock DDT finisher is nice, and she just generally has a star quality feel to her that I don't think anyone else on the roster has.
Su killing Rosemary with a Panic Switch off the stage through a table was legit too! The undead bride stuff is a little bit goofy (I think they probably should have at least had Su do some sort of move to incapacitate Allie rather than just having them hold her there awkwardly for like 5 minutes) but at least they're putting a bit of effort into the character/storyline. Their biggest problem with the way something like this comes across on TV is just the sheer lack of atmosphere around the product.

This is the strongest the KO division has been in quite a while. I like it.
I would like it more if Taeler Hendrix would return.

As a huge Rosemary fan, I loved the segment. I find some of her babyface character vernacular silly and misplaced at times but nothing is perfect. The exchange between Allie and Rosemary was well done. I really started to get invested when Rosemary refused Allie's help and in turn, Allie refused to promise she wouldn't interfere. I like the fact that for the most part, they do a fine job of making Rosemary look vulnerable in such a fashion that it looks believable yet strong enough that she doesn't lose her mystique while also making Su look like a strong treat. Allie has become a fantastic babyface. She's softspoken yet fiery and while her character hasn't progressed in the smoothest fashion and even has had some traffic at some points overall I'm invested in Allie in a way that I didn't anticipate.

Really good stuff this week. Tessa was really impressive in her debut - it's great to have a female heel wrestle a quick exciting style for a change rather than the slow, rest hold based offence we see so much of. You can still get heat without being boring! Madison was a great touch on commentary too, putting over both girls big time and making the match seem much more important than Josh is ever able to do by himself, or with Sonjay trying to be funny all the time. I'm excited that she's back involved in storylines as a wrestler again, but really hope she goes back to commentary again in the future because she's perfect for it.
The funeral of Rosemary was a nicely produced segment which was another look into how Impact the company is moving in a positive direction under the new administration. The last couple of weeks have been really positive for Su Yung's character.

Not a whole lot to talk about from this week, but the Madison/Tessa promo was good hype for their match - if a little bit ironic to hear Maddie talk about the division being built on respect rather than bullying considering her character's past! I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them put on the best KO match since I've started watching again.
Little bit more sceptical about the prospects of the title match as I'm still not really sold on Su's inring. It will also be interesting to see how the stipulation affects the match.

The only thing missing is her complaining about how Tara sucks and should retire, Velvet is overexposed, Mickie is boring, Sarita needs to be used more, and Gail is the MVP to completely fit in with WOW circa 2012.

Tessa vs Madison was OK but didn't reach the next level like I hoped they might be able to. Tessa's good in the ring, she doesn't hold back at all and does everything with confidence and precision. I get the sense that she takes herself very seriously and really puts a gameface on for her matches - her swearing at the ref was an indication of her really being hyped up and I like it. Josh acting like Madison winning was an upset was fucking stupid.
I was concerned that Allie and Su would fail to be able to create the kind of atmosphere/intensity that the storyline called for, and I was right. Tessa did a better job of that in her standard singles match that had one week of build. Su is just not particularly good, does little more than a bunch of rest holds, and doesn't sell very well either - the way she took the chair assisted codebreaker was awful.
