I don't know if you all knew this about me , but I'm pretty much a multi billionaire. I just hang out on the internet talking about wrestling , movies and sports while my yacht is in the shop. Lucky for you though , the wonderful people of PW , I'm looking to give some of my fortune and wealth away - today! And maybe tomorrow! Possibly next week too! We are going to do this in the form of a draft , I will choose the five most worthy candidates , all of which will be the first five to show up to show me how they might spend a billion dollars if I were to give it to them. I have a few guidelines: - No Houses: We all want a mansion , I have 12 , I'll give you one of those. Do something fun with your money. - No Cars/Trucks/SUVS: I want some creativity with this. You want a new Ferrari? I have a 2017 model with 13 miles on it you can have. - No charities: Look I'm sure we are all great people , except 🤯. I assure you I donate plenty of capital into the most important charities daily. Leave the philanthropy to me and spend your money! - I want RECEIPTS with each pick to see the general cost. - You have to spend as much money as possible. Don't cheap out. It's not even your money. - Winner gets 1 Billion Dollars of my vast PW Fortune! Who wants to get in on this? We have a ton of creative people here , I'm sure with cool dreams of how they could treat themselves with a billion dollars.

Are people eligible or do you need retail receipts? Internet pictures and online receipts are fine. I just need the cost really...

Just something like this Ness. 2017 Bugatti Cheyron Price: $3,900,000 I'd subtract that from your total. And you'd be off to spend some more on your next turn. Obviously not a car though , cars are boring.

I was more thinking like services rather than slavery with "people".
Like say I'd spend 250k for vendrell to mow my lawn with a pair of scissors. I take it you're looking more along the lines of "stuff".

I take it you're looking more along the lines of "stuff". If that's what you want to spend money on I suppose. I'd question if you were getting your money's worth. For example: If I were involved Id hire a celebrity chef to (maybe Flay or Greenspan) to give me private cooking lessons. Actually I'd pay like 8 chefs to compete and the winner gets to by my private teacher for the next year at 5 million dollar salary.

A billion dollars, that's enough to build an army and take a small eastern european country.

I want to buy out some of the more famous museums, take their artwork and hang the pieces in public parks for the world to see and appreciate up close.
Easy to get receipts from a museum surely and all this artwork will cost a ton. Think of what could be done with all the empty museum spaces as well.

I'd ask for a second billion dollars so I could buy one of the crappy NFL teams. Cleveland would be fun, could be the saviour that turns the franchise around. Only other teams valued at under $2 billion are Cincy, Tampa, Detroit, and Buffalo.

I considered moving an NBA franchise to KC but the low valued of them would take most of the billion.
But KC has already built me their new arena on taxpayer dime.

1. Buy the Milwaukee Bucks ($785,000,000) - I'm a sports fan so clearly one of my first orders of business would be to try and land a professional franchise. The NFL is out of the question because their values are sky high but there are a few teams in the NBA under the billion dollar mark that I would take a swing at. I'd prefer the hometown Milwaukee Bucks who happen to have one of the brightest young stars in the NBA to build and market the team around. Not too mention I don't think this would be a horrible business deal as NBA franchises continue to grow in value. Money Remaning: $215,000,000
2. Attend a 4 year , world class culinary school ($110,000) - I thought this would cost more , but it's a mere drop in the bucket I need after spending most of my money on an NBA franchise. I love to cook , I consider myself a fairly good home cook but would really love some training starting with the basics and working my way up to learn everything I possibly could. Not for nothing either as these skills would surely come to help me with one of my plans for later. Money remaining: $214,890,000
3. Fund and consult on a horror movie ($50,890,000)- I love movies , I love horror movies and I've always thought it would be fascinating to be on or around set during the making of one. Horror movies generally speaking are lower budget but still can return good money if word of mouth gets out. I'd be wiling to spend a little more to get the right director (Mike Flanagan?) , a decent enough cast and a quality screenwriter and make a movie that would hopefully stand the test of time. Of course it could completely flop as well , but at least I'd get to experience of entering a business I have so much interest in. Money remaining: $164,000,000
4. Build my own sports bar ($5,000,000) - Now generally speaking and with a little research I found out a sports bar can cost up to a million to start , so being I have so much money left in the wallet I decided to go crazy and make the best sports bar the world has ever seen. I'm talking a state of the art menu featuring game day favorites taken up a level. I'm talking separate wings of the bar dedicated to certain sports , with enough screens and space to display every game. I'm talking an outside patio area where certain sports can be played given the right weather. I would also capitalize on the fantasy obsession by building a fantasy drafting room , available to rent out with state of the art everything , including a NFL draft like stage. It would become a destination sports bar. Money remaining: $159,000,000
5. Build a Youth Ice Arena ($20,000,000) - I have a daughter in figure skating and my step son in hockey and I don't know anything that's shocked me more than the price of both of those sports and if you talk to the people who run the leagues and organizations it comes down to mostly ice time being so god damn expensive. Not too mention two of the three local arena's around here are pretty dumpy and not all that fun to even be at - so I would use a chunk of my money to build a state of the art arena - featuring dual rinks - each specifically designed for the purpose of hockey or figure skating. The seating would be more spacious with the option of having it heated , and the locker rooms would also reflect the different needs of a hockey team or figure skating club. It would something for the kids to enjoy as well as the parents and it would all be affordable to any family. Also I hate hockey , but they deserve a place to play and practice as well. Money remaining: $139,000,000
God damn it's hard to spend a billion dollars , I thought I could do it quite easily and while I could easily jack the price up of a few things I tried to be somewhat realistic - even though I did dabble in absurdity. Either way those are probably the top five things I would really love to do , taken from experiences of my life and things I'd love to see improved.

What's it cost to develop a video game for an obsolete gaming system?
I'd throw as much of that billion as it takes at developing and publishing a proper sequel to No Mercy 64.
Assuming it wouldn't require a billion to do that, I'd allocate some of the excess to somehow granting the N64 internet access and compatibility. This would allow for downloadable content for No Mercy roster and software updates, and could even be parlayed into online GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, etc.

You add in the fact that it would be for an obsolete system , that you would have to pay out the ass to get the rights for WWE and their superstars likeness - I'd gather you'd spend at least 100 million. Then again it could be cheaper to go back to an obsolete system and use the already in place mechanics , this is where I could be totally off base. What else would you do PI , imagining you now had 900 million left over. What are your dreams , aspirations , weird obsessions that you could build or do if money was far less of an obstacle?

Ok, I'll play ball. This is without cost vetting though. I'd have to go back when I have time to research to flesh things out more realistically. Anyway, for now... - $100M for the proper No Mercy successor/online N64 development. - $100M for starting up a wrestling promotion... if nothing else, just to prove that I wouldn't be as incompetent as TNA. - $800M to buy out and revitalize and subsequently become the de facto ruler of some burned out ol' rust belt town in like WV/KY/PA/etc or wherever... Either play out all my benevolent dictator fantasies, or turn it into a lab for socioeconomic/political experiments.
