The Vikings need to get a FG (at least) before the half.

The Eagles going up 3 possessions on Minny might be too much for them to overcome.
This has blowout written all over it. Or.... Minneapolis Miracle Part 2?

That's well and truly game right there.
Eagles are just too much this evening, an amazing performance.

Pederson is putting on a play calling clinic here - inherited Andy Reid's creativity but not his tendency to take his foot off the gas.

FYI, Zack Ertz wife has a goal scored in her soccer game for the USWNT right now, too. Great day for the Ertz family.

That would have been an unbelievable catch from Thielan.
Not a lot for the Vikings to smile about at the moment, Eagles do well to keep them quiet.

The Eagles are putting on a show.
I wonder how Brady's gonna tackle this defense?

Actually a bit concerned at how well Foles is playing here now, feels like he might be using up all his best stuff en route to laying an egg in the Super Bowl.

Foles just needed a few weeks to get properly warmed up. Now he's all ready to tackle the best that the Pats got.

This was essentially what I feared for the Vikings. Last week, everything went their way in the first half, they skipped out to a 17 point lead and then got chased down. It took a handful of special plays to overcome that win, but a lot of flaws had been exposed and the Eagles have done incredibly well to expose them. They've been brilliant and played Minnesota like a fiddle.
It's a hard loss to take, but it just confirms that the Vikings were lucky to be there.

but a lot of flaws had been exposed Main thing I've noticed is that the front four haven't got any pressure for a game and a half now. Everson Griffen has been completely erased by Vaitai tonight.

At least the Super Bowl isn't in Foxborough, maybe the challenger might actually get a flag. One call the whole day is a bit much. Still, Jags had their chances and just couldn't take advantage, Fornette had a play on a wheel route late in the game and gave 0 effort to get to the ball, then Bortles had a guy and just couldn't put enough on it. Defense tired late, and offense wasn't able to do anything after a fantastic strip gave them a chance to put the game out of reach. When will you guys learn, the Patriots don't make mistakes to give you the game, you have to actually beat them. After a game like that, there are still a couple of people chirping, because there has to be some reason the Patriots won other than the obvious. Not making mistakes would be a nice change of pace from just being allowed to. Just like to see a game called down the middle, in a close game, don't want to see them be the thing that helps nudge the marker the other direction (both or neither, at least be consistent on both sides). If it was my team, I'd be all for it though, so I get it. Oh well though, it happened, it's over, it wasn't the sole deciding factor, Jags had their chances and blew them. It's no big deal.

The Eagles have been unbelievable in general, but it seemed like one of those games where the turnovers rocked the Vikings to their core and the Eagles just rode the momentum. Once it got out to 21-7, it just got too hard for the Vikings and the Eagles smelled blood in the water.

Why am I still watching this game? Another turnover and now the defence is passing it to themselves.

Brady vs the Eagles Part 2. Is this team better then McNabbs Eagles? They beat Minnesota and Atlanta to make the Super Bowl back then too, which is a pretty weird coincidence. The Evil Empire will win again.

The defense is definitely better than the '04 Eagles. This team has great depth in D. Unlike 2004, when we only had Jevon Kearse and Jeremiah Trotter.

The Evil Empire will win again. Neat fact. I can’t help but root for Brady, though. The dudes a legend and I can’t help but respect watching him continue to do his thing. I like a lot of these Philly players, but without Wentz, they’re not beating Brady.

In all seriousness though , the game kind of went a little like I thought it would. I didn't think the Vikings would lose in such an embarrassing fashion but I said if the Eagles set the tone early (the pick 6) it was going to be a long day for the Vikings and it was. The crowd was jacked from that point forward and Keenum's confidence was shook on the road. There was really no coming back from that point.
What did surprise me was the Vikings defense. They couldn't tackle , their coverage seemed loose , and they let Foles carve them up. Surprising only because generally defenses travel well and the Vikings didn't - it was really weird to see out of this team. Then again they have a history of choking and this shouldn't be that surprising.
Great game played by Foles , great coaching by Pederson (Michael Lombardi can suck it) and overall great win for Philly. I thought the game could be like 24 - 7 by the end of it , didn't expect the total domination.
As for the early game , I had to listen to the 4th quarter on the radio but I'm a little sad the Patriots won. I don't hate the team but the Jaguars would of been fun for the next two weeks now it's the same Patriots talk we get every year. I'll probably check out of football until the game because the coverage will be nauseating.
Props to the Jags though , I knew they could make a game of it. In the end though they got outcoached in the second half and couldn't adjust to Belichek's adjustments. He is the master for a reason and the Jags inexperience shined through and he took advantage.
