Could former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn be making a return to the WWE?

The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestling INC) is reporting that there has been some internal talk about bringing Kaitlyn (real name Celeste Bonin) back to the company.

Kaitlyn recently posted photos on her official Instagram of her in-ring training for the first time in in four years.

On top of capturing the Divas Championship, Kaitlyn was also crowned the winner season three of NXT. She left the company in 2014 after a four year stint.

I was happy when she became champ. Would love to see her again.

I was disappointed when she left, but dunno if I care to see her back. Only a few years back, but man it felt like a different era then. Also does she still look like She-Hulk?

I know it's random but I want Kaitlyn to join The New Day and be ridiculous with them.

I loved Kaitlyn during her time with the WWE, so I wouldn't mind seeing her come back.

Unless her skills have greatly improved she probably shouldn't join the current era.

Kaitlyn was a woman who kinda just left abruptly, but still had a lot of potential. Then again, when she lost her title, that was the start of the Total Divas vs. True Divas feud and face!Kaitlyn was forced to team with the heels. I think it's okay to have her back. She might at least be someone solid enough to work with.

I wouldn't mind her returning.

I'd like to see Kaitlyn back. It would be an interesting situation - she's recognizable and well-liked and therefore has some star power, but at the same time she wasn't around long and had a lot of untapped potential.

Thinking it over having her back would be pretty good for either division. A big complaint many have is the same set of matches because there really aren't enough girls on the main roster to justify a split, so another worker is always welcome. Plus she didn't compete for as long as girls like Mickie and Alicia so she would be fresh. Her match with AJ @ Payback was one of the first ones I really enjoyed. Yeah you had classics through the years like Trish/Mickie and Melina/McCool, but it wasn't often and she was really new to the business at the time.

While the quality in general has improved since her time, lets not act like WWE has suddenly become AJW 1993. Kaitlyn proved she was more than capable in the ring, and given some more time as a featured wrestler than she was during her first run wouldn't look out of place at all.

Don't remember exactly when she left but then wasn't the average diva's match around 4 minutes. I am not sure has she been continuing her wrestling career elsewhere but she wasn't like some of the other who were wrestlers else well and just scaled back for that era in the WWE. If she was training only to perform for those few minutes a comeback would force her to get back where she was and also double or triple her time in the ring.

I believe it is doable but don't think it will be an easy return.

There's no reason why she can't come back.

We pretend the bar has been lifted so highly for the women due to NXT, it hasn't. Most of the women on TV are barely capable of a decent 15 minute match, and that's the same for a lot of guys coming out of NXT too. So let's not pretend, it's some impossible feat. She'll be fine.

I'm a fan of Kaitlyn but I got where you're coming from. I believe she is good enough to be apart of the roster. I think she'd be far more useful than Tamina, Nia or Lana.

She was over considering she never really got given anything to do outside of the AJ feud.

She originally got over with Vickie being her mentor. And Vickie could probably get anyone over as a face.

Considering much of that developed on NXT 3, which became an online-exclusive series halfway through, I don't think the story with Vickie led to Kaitlyn being over during the course of her career.

Kaitlyn was naturally likable which always helped, but her storylines with Eve and AJ elevated her popularity (which is how it should be!)

Whole new pool of talent for her to work with though!  Would love to see her against someone like Asuka.
