Seems way to early to go for 4th and long just inside midfield, even if you complete it, if it's short, you still aren't getting a FG.

Daboll does it all the time, I don't like on 4th and 8 but I get doing it on anything less than 5. I like the aggression just not after a sack on 3rd down.

Maybe at an and 3, good chance a completion there is a 1st, but at 8 it's just not a good look.

Terrible idea going for it on 4th and 8.   I didn't see anything from the defense on that first drive that would give me that kind of confidence.

I know you didn't like it when they did it vs DAL inside their own like 45 so not too surprised. I get analytics scream for it but after a sack, I would have pinned them and play for field position.
