SF/Philly with either be an absolute clusterfuck or a Philly blowout. There will be no inbetween. Last time Purdy played Hurts they both had 5 TDs and it was 42-41. Purdy leaves Iowa St and team goes to 4 wins and Matt Campbell's star sorta takes a blemish.

I stopped watching Bills games live because when I did they lost, so I’ve been taping them or catching the highlights which seemed to work until today! Bengals played a great game. They were alll over Allen alll game because apparently our O line decided they were already on off season. I gave up after the 90’s, but this team lured me back in with Super Bowl promises. Sigh. Maybe next year.

Fun fact, the last time the Chiefs and Bengals played in the playoffs the Bengals won by 3 in OT Fun fact, two times previously in the 2000s teams have appeared in consecutive road Conference Championship games (11-12 Ravens and 12-13 49ers) and they've gone 1-1. This year it's happening twice with the Bengals (who won last year) and the 49ers (who lost).

Plus Zeke got into upper celebrity status in Dallas when he was feasting. I personally think they’re fucked because they have Dak Prescott as QB. Like I’ve said before I think Dak is an amazing human being so I hate to say to let him go but clearly the Dak/Zeke Era isn’t championship material. You can’t waste Micah Parsons these next 10 years. You gotta revamp that offense.

It's not like they were a Jaguars or Giants team who exceeded preseason expectations before being bounced by a clearly superior team, they were a roster that had genuine title aspirations. They have consecutive 12 win seasons and have been eliminated by the same team in similar embarrassing end of game situations twice in a row. Mike McCarthy has been eliminated by the 49ers in the playoffs four times now! It would be insanity to run back the same coaching staff for another season.

If keeping a coach who loses in the playoffs two years in a row with a championship caliber roster is insanity, someone alert the Bills. Or the Chiefs in the two years prior to Patrick Mahomes being the starter. Or the 49ers for that matter because Kyle Shanahan also has a good track record of underperfomance in big games. This feels very arbitrary, and primarily the fault of Dallas being Dallas more than anything that’s actually happened.
I’m not a Mike McCarthy fan and thought it was an awful hire, but I think most people outside Dallas would say that this years team was third best in the NFC and they went out in that spot. They’re talented, but not loaded the way San Francisco is loaded. Not many teams in the league are firing their coach over that. Maybe it’s Kellen Moore’s time, but I doubt that too.
And if they fired McCarthy the popular opinion is bring in Sean Payton who… also routinely won 11-13 games and lost in the Divisional Round with championship caliber talent.
