JBL has split with Corbin and the always credible dirt sheets claim WWE have given up on Corbin as despite multiple gimmick changes he hasn’t able to get over. I personally think he’s one of the only true heels in wrestling.

I think so many gimmick changes have hindered him and the one gimmick that was getting over and getting him sympathy (when we went broke) ended too quickly with him winning at the casino. He also got out of that awful dog storyline with Reigns relatively unscathed.

I absolutely love his ring work, deep six and the end of days are such great moves as is that ring post clothesline thing he does.

As much as I’ve loved Roman’s Reign I think it’s hurt upper-mid carders like Corbin, I don’t have the Nash vanilla midgets mentality but having him do the j-o-b to Gargano and the like seemed pretty jarring.

What are your thoughts on Corbin and where should they go with
King/Happy/Lucky/Baron Corbin from here?

I'm not a Corbin fan. Never have been. They've tried a ton of different things with him and personally, I think he's done as well with them as anyone could. For whatever reason, he's just unlikable, which if you are a heel isn't a bad thing, but if JBL can't even get you over, I don't know what to say.

Tag Team.

I think WWE lacks a " big man " tag team (while we're on Bradshaw) similar to The APA.

He's too good to just give up on, or let go. Is he a master worker in the ring? But he can work, he can talk and had the size to be constant threat to any opponent.

I think tagging with a guy like Damien Priest isn't such a bad idea. So, maybe the lone wolf finds his pack in Judgement Day?

One of the downsides to Roman Reigns (and the Usos for that matter) being champion(s) for so long, is that essentially no one else really matters. We know that they aren't dropping their titles until at least WrestleMania, so there is no one reason to care, it goes for Corbin but also every tag team match, why should I care about the outcomes when we know no one is beating Reigns/Usos.

I'd understand that with other wrestlers that haven't gotten the spotlight but I don't believe that applies to Corbin. He's been on TV for 10 under various gimmicks. He's not some rookie that brass refuses to give a shot. BC has been lower to higher mid-card for his entire career.

How can WWE, in good faith, tell the guy 'we want your character to be a schmuck who gets laughed at for being a loser' and in the next breath say 'the fans aren't getting behind you; clearly it's your fault?'

It did seem to me the fans were invested in him just a bit when he was Broke Corbin so it's not like he has zero potential but at the moment I see his ceiling as Attitude-era Bossman -- a midcard heavy who's the enforcer of a faction.

And that's ok.

Corbin is likely playing notable roles at live events. He's easy to hate and he can easily get heat without a lot of effort.

We need to forget this notion, that unless someone is in a " top spot " they're otherwise utterly useless or being purposely underutilised or the business has turned on them.

Funnily, this entire idea he has lost his spot came from a segment on RAW with a HOF'er, followed by deliberately booked segments the following week showing the disrespect towards him and later working Wrestlemania Main Eventer Cody Rhodes... sure he looked like a chump, but he still worked Cody Rhodes on RAW.

Tag team with McAfee and be called the Colts Connection since they were former Colts teammates and roommates.

I think the Tag Team could have worked if they teamed him with someone else, the pairing with Apollo just seemed incredibly random.

Karrion Kross or even be part of the Wyatt 6 could have worked wonders.
