Really enjoy the fact that Stoke put together a faction that loses constantly but continues to get TV time.

Wonder if Action tanked his career with that Sammy botch. Like legit could have killed him with the suplex when Sammy was getting caught in the ring.

Maybe a slightly better Dynamite.
The highlight was obvious the ladder match - despite botchamania running wild. Christ almighty, most of these guys shouldn't have been near a ladder match. Andretti almost killed Sammy, and as much as I'd love to see that, it wouldn't be great. Yeah, I get it - Komander's got some sick moves, I'll make a better call when he wrestles a 1 v 1 match and does a little more than tight-rope walk and throw flips, even a green as shit Roman Reigns looked like a stud in those early Shield matches, despite lacking the ability to work a singles match. Still, it was a good fun match.
Wait, wasn't there like a tag team battle royale last week? And now there's another one?
Jericho is a joke, and I feel sorry for Daniel Garcia. A few years ago, people were predicting big things for this kid and guess what, he's just Jericho's bag boy now. If there was ever an example of a vet not only hitching his wagon, but regulating a solid up-and-comer to 'bitch' this is it. Jericho has derailed this kid's career for now, and only for the sake of jerking Jericho off.
Speaking of embarrassing drunks - Jon Moxley can't even cut a promo without bleeding.
Speaking of embarrassing drunks - Eddie Kingston quit. Good.
Danielson said a bad word. Fuck this shit is edgy.

I did enjoy the only match I thought would be interesting in the reach for the sonic ring match. Wish they fixed the ending where Hobbs just got another ladder. I hate seeing three refs holding that broken ladder for him. Because you know another wrestler couldn't attack the ref base so it was the end of the match.
Komander did well in this environment

Yeah, TK couldn't shell out for a taller, strong ladder?
In AEW's defence, Hobbs ran through it like pissed off dairy cow and destroyed it himself.
But, this 300lb man is standing on top of this ladder and can't get down. H3 looked like a goof... Despite it being broken.

Why the hell did they shoot it with the referees in view and why did they use that camera? It’s the same thing as blading on camera which they’ve done before. I know they hired one of Dunn’s number twos recently. It hasn’t helped.

I swear I've seen referees hold the ladder before. It isn't common but it does happen.
And what else are the referees there for if not to do their job of protecting the wrestlers from themselves? In kayfabe it 100% makes sense.
If the match wasn't over someone would have thrown the referees out of the way. You can't get DQ'd in a ladder match.

One criticism (just one) I've picked up on since " watching full-time " with AEW, is the lack of ring noise compared to WWE.
I've went back and rewatched the ladder match to ensure it wasn't me. Takashita drops Komander with a Blue Thunder Bomb off the ladder and it's completely silent. No impact noise. Andretti botches that ladder spot and there barely a sound. Sammy's ladder dive, you hear the chairs hitting the barrier.. no impact noise.
Watching it, is like sitting in the nosebleeds and listening to the three guys behind you do commentary.

Only WWE mics the ring. Most wrestlers hate it as you cannot really call matches on the fly without the mics picking it up.

When Hobbs went to get it, it was not there so he grabbed the beat up ladder that was nearby to do the finish with.

LMAO...
At the media scrum Tony clarified that Eddie was working an angle and did not really quit as part of a backstage promo that they then shared.

I wonder just how common it is? Here's another example:

Referees are suppose to be neutral they aren't suppose to assist someone get a win.
And while you can't get DQed you can get fined or suspended for hitting an official in kayfabe so you wouldn't do it an potentially lose the prize you may win.
