Santana is back? Didn't see that one coming. This card looks horrible on paper but so did last weeks so you never know.

That has to be a typo from the site I copied the card from. That is Ortiz in that match from the graphic.  I am changing that.

I forgot Hook still exists and he has a belt. Has he lost yet? Come close to losing?

Not sure. I assume Matt is putting him over. Do not think he lost yet in a singles match.

Wasn't there a tag team Battle Royale last week?

This one tonight is to determine the last team in the fourway for the tag titles.

That was a traditional one.  This one's under casino rules, and it's for the final spot at Revolution.

Match was Gunn Club vs Acclaimed vs battle royal winner vs casino royal winner.

Need to layer your clusterfucks.

This show is clusterfuck city.  Ladder match plus casino royal match means just utter chaos.  I cannot wait.  Hopefully Top Flight takes this one.  Also get Komander which obviously I am more than a little excited for.  

And battle royale last week was a lot of fun.  I def did not see Jarrett winning it.

I find it odd as well.

Clearly they want to establish the Casino Battle Royal as an annual tradition. However they only added the second battle royal last year to justify having a reDragon vs. Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express match. Maybe it will make more sense after the match but right now it seems like AEW is overcompensating for a weak match.

I didn't think last week's battle royal was anything amazing but it was a nice excuse to get some underutilised talent on TV. I wish they'd follow up on it and give these other teams more of an opportunity but it is what it is.

My issue is they are trying to do, with a clusterfuck ladder match, and still four matches and a DB vs MJF segment. Just a messy show. Like why not move the ladder match to the PPV at least and allow the other matches more than 5 minutes.

It is made worse as we all know most of the ladder match and casino match will be done during commercials.  

They announced both Battle Royales at the same time. They said the tag title match at Revolution would be a triple threat match and the two teams that win the Battle Royales would face The Acclaimed. All the teams from last week get a 2nd chance to get in.
