The first version is absolute murder, and I love Kelly Kelly screaming in terror as Beth picks her up. Pre-selling the move, brilliant. However it looks dangerous since the recipient has to know exactly when she's gonna slam them. I imagine she broke someone's face and had to tone it down.

The second version is of course much softer, but it gives the receiver that clear warning to prepare for the bump and also allows Beth to drop them in a safer way. That was also pre-sold, but less convincingly.

I noticed that the way Beth has her hand wrapped around Kelly Kelly's arms are different than it is for Brie Bella. Seems more tangled up for Kelly Kelly. Kelly Kelly's arms seem more held further back where as Brie has her hands more forward. You think Beth might of misjudge how long she would need to release her arms before hitting the mat for the kelly kelly one? Thoughts on this?

What's the difference? The delay?

I don't notice a difference in the arm positions. Like I said I think she changed the way she executed the move for safety reasons.

On the second one Beth spends a second to place her hands on Brie's legs before dropping her. So it doesn't look as smooth or as murderous, the drop is more gentle and gives the recipient more time to get their forearms in front of them.

When you said "However it looks dangerous since the recipient has to know exactly when she's gonna slam them.", When they are falling to the ring mat, couldn't they put their head further back so their stomach/chest area takes the impact first, before the face hits the mat?

I ain't no wrestler but what I always understood is that you have to use your forearms to break the fall when you bump on your front. Don't know if other ways are possible.

I love the Glam Slam to Kelly Kelly, while I'm nowhere near being a fan of hers, she does a fantastic job of selling the move. Having said that, Alicia Fox always took the move pretty well as well, man I miss her.

Emperor I think this is what you’re meaning? And maybe why she had to change it up? I’ve had to look it up, but I believe this takes place a week or so after the clip in the opening.

Yeah that's definitely a face breaker. Ouch. McCool had no time to get her arms down.

I don't think we ever got Beth's side of why she had beef with Michelle.
