I wasn't sure if I should put this in the Impact Wrestling thread, or the New Japan thread (as it's a co-promoted event), so I figured why not create a whole new one to discuss this show, however, if a mod feels the need to merge this with one of those threads then obviously I would get it. On March 30th both companies will be hosting Multiverse United during WrestleMania weekend, and I have to say the show doesn't look all that bad if I'm being perfectly honest. Impact World Championship Singles Match Josh Alexander(c) vs. Kushida
Knockout Championship Four-Way Match Mickie James(c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Miyu Yamashita
Singles Match Mike Bailey vs. Will Ospreay
X Division Championship Six-Way Scramble Match Trey Miguel(c) vs. Clark Conners vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Kevin Knight vs. Rich Swann vs. Rocky Romero
Strong Openweight Championship Singles Match Kenta(c) vs. Minoru Suzuki
Impact Tag Team Championship Four-Way Tag Team Match Bullet Club(c) vs. Aussie Open vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. TMDK
Singles Match Jeff Comb vs. Moose
Eight-Man Tag Team Match Fred Rosser, Alex Coughlin, Sami Callihan, and PCO vs. Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, Tom Lawlor, and J. R. Kratos

Like I said in the opening post, this looks like a pretty good card, admittedly there is some stuff I’m not sold on, however, the majority of it has my interest. The two four-way matches (knockouts and tag title matches) are the two I’m really looking forward to watching, however, Ospreay/Bailey, Alexander/Kushida and the x-division scramble should all be fun to watch as well.
Also, Mickie James may or may not be in this match, it honestly depends on if she retains her knockouts championship against Jordynn Grace at the Sacrifice event (March 24th). Anyways, feel free to post predictions or discuss the card.

Curious if Speedball vs Ospreay still happens?
I like that Impact has been doing some build up for Kushida and Josh.
Looking forwards to Moose vs Cobb.

Tanahashi: On March 30th (local time), there was a joint tournament between New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT! You will regret choosing me. I will leave the biggest impact.
Could he be a replacement for Ospreay?

Man, I was really looking forward to Bailey/Ospreay, although Tanahashi isn't a bad replacement. Also bodyslam, it looks like Alexander/Kushida isn't happening, due to Josh being injured, a shame as I've been digging his title reign.

Speedball vs the Ace of NJPW will be great. Deonna Purrazzo should win that match.

Despite a few setbacks (namely the injuries and last-minute replacement matches), I gotta say I really enjoyed this event. No surprise that Deonna won the knockout match, however, I was impressed by Miyu Yamashita, who I def want to see more of. The tag title match, Kushida/Lio Rush and the main event were all fun matches as well.
