I didn’t realize Garcia’s contract was nearing the end and he wasn’t resigned.

I’m not a fan of his gimmick, but he seemed to be getting over.

I had no idea.

MJF name dropped him during his promo tonight. Either he is going to stick around or that was a desperate attempt to get him more negotiating power.

Garcia is unlikely to be going anywhere. Tony, Jericho and AEW peeps paid a massive chunk of his med bills when he got into the car accident before he signed with AEW. Shit like that builds loyalty.

It's evening stuff which is overnight in France so I am not sure if anything is live but I still think a fair amount of people still check it out.

Football season is coming to AEW Collision which is going to run against College Football is going to get spanked. Rampage too since ESPN always tries to get a good Friday night matchup. 

RAW will too but they will at least hold a respectable 1.5 or so throughout the MNF onslaught. 

Other thing is the Dynamite card this week was super weak on paper. Nothing screamed must watch on it.  Stat did win an eliminator match though and Hangman murdered Darby.  But from the previews could tell it was a show that could be easily skipped.

The Olympics isn’t exactly exceptional competition is it? What event was on? Dynamite did 1.1m the last time the Olympics was on

They absolutely will carve away viewers though. Everyone is talking about them. Miss AEW it on next week too. Miss the Olympics it is four yours till you get the summer games events again.  Have to pick one of watch and seems like a no-brainer.  

And remember we are solely talking about the US cable subscribers when ratings are talked about.  More and more they tend towards certain demographics.

Add it to the long list, reasons as to why Dynamite didn't do 800.

It's doubled it's audience according to the NY Times, averaging over 30 million compared to the 15 million from Tokyo.

I only brought it up because I incidentally heard the Olympics have been a huge ratings winner.

As c mentioned, while it was an OK show, there wasn't any reason to tune in. It seems like 600,000-700,000 is the new baseline audience.

Either that or someone in AEW REALLY hates her and leaked a BS story. Which would be even worse.

So much drama for someone who is not even in the top 5 women AEW currently has. And likely burning her bridges with WWE right now as with all this drama, why would they risk bringing her in?  Moreso when they just got a massive injection of amazing talent in NXT with their recent pickups.

If that was true she might lose some of her immunity to her backstage behavior. And to be fair Adam Cole doesn't look like he is putting the work to keep her just based on physical appeal.

So what at least Thunder and Lufisto issues? Possibly Medusa issues not sure she ever named who it was.

If the current is true why does she get to keep Wembley match. A lot of people deserve that a lot more then Britt. Mercedes will make who ever it is look like a millions buck. Ot is just to make it look like Britt is actually good in the ring. Like with what happen with Thunder Rosa

I guess Baker saw relative newcomer to AEW Alicia Atout spilling locker room gossip outside as a threat to the locker room and given Atout is a former wrestling YT personality/MLW, she probably felt betrayed as a locker room leader that internal gossip was spread out. I am shocked MJF and Atout are dating given Atout was with MJF's stablemate/good friend Richard Holliday, seems kinda shitty to do. Especially when Holliday had cancer and Atout was with him throughout but maybe they all left on good terms. I'm shocked AEW or WWE never picked up Holliday TBH, he is a good mic worker and is getting back into wrestling fit shape all things considered. Think he's out of an MLW contract too. 

But if Atout/MJF are GF/BF, it makes sense they would communicate and prioritize that. But MJF is no angel, dude has had a pretty bad history with women(Allie Kat comes off the top of my head where it got really nasty). MJF punching a wall should have landed MJF in suspension territory but we'll take something out of this(Baker getting suspended) I guess.

Atout probably started and made this a big deal out of nothing which is kind of shitty but this is another incident for both Baker and MJF(Albeit the 1st time) so everybody looks terrible. Baker was a guest on Atout's channel a few times so again I see how Baker felt betrayed here. I am stunned Baker's BFF Perozzo didn't get in Atout's face because it's very tough to shake off a squeaky leak in the locker room. A lot of secrets and the like get told and when someone openly speaks out about something, it probably won't do Atout very good.

It has kinda been swept under the radar with the Mone/Mikaze divorce I guess but Cole seems like a beloved guy personality wise so much like with Mone & Mikaze, maybe personality>looks at the end of the day. 

Mone changed a ton since I used to see her at shows. Mone I met when I was hitting shows to see Mikaze run on walls was a shy nerdy introvert like Mikaze was. Mone now is the opposite it seems. Can easily see the fame taking them in two very different directions until they were no longer compatible.  Britt giving up dentistry also seems to show is too is changing a lot.

Different companies too so tough to make the long distance work vs the 2 being in cahoots together for every show with costumes and the like. 

Probably awkward with Mikaze and Naomi/Bayley with the way Mone was speaking about being free and being so happy to be divorced. 

Mikaze I am sure will be fine. He is just a likable dude who will find someone new in no time. Sucks he lost his long term girlfriend, but I imagine Banks of today was not the girl he fell in love with.

Reports are that MJF entered the women’s locker room to confront Baker and punched the wall. If true, that’s some disturbing behavior.
