They have nothing to complain about. They got a shot, they got paid in full for their services, they didn't get renewed because they're not very good. :dunno:

Nick Gage somehow was allowed to wrestle on Live TV and was cutting Jericho and Moxley, 2 of AEW's top guys at the time up good, even at the cost of sponsorships. I think Effy is bitter in some aspect that he and his ultra gay persona/wrestling gimmick isn't able to get on AEW TV.

Starks showed up to Cody's event with QT Marshall, Aaron Solow & Dustin Rhodes but it's only a big deal against Starks to be there. He was also there for Jade Cargill's 1st big match too, he mentions this in the bits I saw of this interview.

Jericho was on Steve Austin's podcast and is forever good, it's silly and hypocritical of AEW to make a big fuss. WWE even let Naomi & Bayley show up to Mercedes Mone's matches in Japan(Albeit they were covering their identities, probably to not want to overshadow the match) and in AEW backstage. 

So what did Starks do then?

You're telling me, that simply TK has nothing for him yet can find room for Daniel Garcia, Jack Perry, that boy in the pink coat and skateboard and Wheeler Yuta - all of which are some of the most blandest, boring human beings on the planet, let alone in wrestling.

Oh, and the difference between Starks and QT and Solow - WWE doesn't know who those 2 are, nor would care. And Dustin, he's 55 years old, he ain't on their radar.

Starks has probably made it clear repeatedly that he's going to leave AEW and not re-sign. The RR wasn't the first indication, and yes, it was absolutely the wrong thing to do.
