Awesome Bloodline segment. Loved the Tama Tonga debut. In Japan Tonga was the definition of mediocrity (at least as a singles wrestler) but WWE have put him in a place where be belongs and can really shine. Exciting.

Agreed, that was my first thought. On the surface it looks like Solo Sikoa is staging a mutiny, but in my view he's answering to The Rock. Clever use of the "Tribal Chief" title. Heyman explicitly said "The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns" in his promo while Solo referred to the Trible Chief by title only. Makes me think The Rock is making a play from behind the scenes after Roman's defeat.

Jimmy and Jey reuniting seems the direction they are going, but I hope they do it in a smart. Jimmy cost Jey so damn much.

SmackDown was great! Tons of good stuff. Thought it was better than Raw for sure.

Tama Tonga is now on the WWE roster. Never thought I would see it.

Looks like Bianca teaching Jade the rest of the ropes for WWE. They are a team moving forward.  Smart call, Bianca really picked up WWE super fast for coming into it as an outsider.  Her and Bliss are the two real standouts of the college recruitment run NXT did.

Thank fuck they've dropped the long winded name for the championship.

Kiana James deserves the promotion, sucks for NXT since she is a solid hand surrender . RAW is getting a really good one, wonder if Izzy Dame joins her or they depart.

I do question the credibility of the GMs.

Bianca Belair is a fine first pick. Jey Uso?! I agree with UT. Jey over Seth? Over Drew? Over CM Punk? Yikes. I suppose you can argue that Jey has a good chance of being the next World Heavyweight Champion. It does make sense from the point of view, but in general Jey is several steps below those other guys I named. At least they redeemed themselves with the Rollins pick.

Carmelo Hayes is a bold choice. He immediately shows his charisma, steps up to Cody Rhodes, and gets the main event in a match that started off exceedingly well but ended strangely. Compare Hayes' main roster career to Bronn Breaker and it's worlds apart. Seeing Bronn squash people is fun but Smackdown clearly has no idea what to do with the guy. I hope Adam Pearce has something better in mind.

Smackdown then picked Randy Orton, Nia Jax (yikes), LA Knight (meh), then made some sensible picks that they were lucky to still have on the table: AJ Styles, The Bloodline, Andrade. Reverse the order of those picks would be far more sensible.

Raw didn't do much better. Liv Morgan is a great choice, to be followed by the baffling choice of Ricochet. Sheamus, decent enough for a later round pick I guess. Alpha Academy, fine. Kiana James - interesting.

There’s two pools for each night. Had to look it up but yeah Drew and Punk are on Monday’s pool.

And in full agreement with your assessment, it’s really a bit all over the shop.

Out of the available pool.. only 5-6 superstars/teams weren’t selected at all. We’re talking about stars like Ivar, Shayna, Zoey, the OC, etc… I’m guessing those stars are just locked onto their brand now.
