Not sure this is a shot by TK though. Being bumped to a different night Tony loses a lot of his audience whether Edge wrestles or not. NXT fans, not too likely to skip NXT for AEW, unless they are primarily AEW to begin with.

But Edge debuted, then set this up at his first full show for the following week, which is kind of the norm for debuting new guys. Acting like Tony signed Edge, then planned his first match on the show they are against NXT to fuck WWE is just silly. Moreso when few actually watch this shit live anyway.

WWE should 100% pull out all the stops when they get a chance to go head to head with AEW. I just find it hilarious how they act like they have no competition then bring out John Cena & The Undertaker.

Competition is great though. The fans win every time. I can’t wait to watch NXT clips on my phone while I watch AEW live.

In response to the timeless one appearing, NXT will be commercial free for the first 30 minutes. Still cannot compete with Toni though.

His name is really cool actually. Mix of the names of his sister and mother.

Not sure he is doing a Tiger King gimmick perse yet, as that pic is from AEW.  But dude has a ton of potential and is legacy so sure he will do fine for himself. Sounded like he just his smile in AEW when they took Julia from him.  And cannot really blame him, as Julia was a key part of his gimmick, and a diamond in the rough.

Also what is REALLY cool about the name, is it sounds like they picked it out when they signed him, and got it all under trademark. Like the NXT crew really wanted to take care of him and make damn sure he was ok following talk that he was not doing so well near the end of his AEW run.

He got a lot of people backstage backing him it seems.  They passed on guys they scouted for a while, or even worked for WWE that they wanted back during the sale, and only picked him up.  Clearly people have personal interest in him making it.

I know CM Punk spoke of him in one of his promos so he's another one of the Punk guys who probably fell out of favor eventually in AEW.

Cannot find the story, but was posted that like Austin was worried about him after hearing about more deaths, and him not really wrestling anymore and contacted WWE. Jericho is also super high on him and would have likely contacted them, as would JR.

Austin and JR been around him his whole life, and Jericho since he started to train was his mentor. They all know what that kid had to endure losing his entire family. He can work, so if AEW was not working him, everyone would prefer him at least being in NXT doing something regularly than sitting at home just being depressed about his shit life.

Tony also did get a lot of heat as rumors of him being really depressed the last six months or so of his AEW run for not releasing him so WWE could get him sooner.

Like normal rules of wrestling kind of do not apply to him as everyone wants him to have the life his dad could not.

LMAO Tony also has AEW going commercial free for the first 30 minutes against NXT commercial free 30 minutes.

He should just call out HBK for a dick measuring contest at this point and get it over with.

Loving to see Dom come into his own, and to be able to stand on his own, without his dad's legacy propping him up. Cody keeps leaning on his dad and his style, whereas Dom created his a whole persona that is like completely different than anything his dad ever did. Once he returned as hard time Dom he just been pure fire.

People would riot, but imagine if he took down Gunther?  

I don’t know, his dad Eddie did some of this stuff before.

Patrick Clark/Velveteen Dream is trying to rehab & overcome his demons and trying to get back in the good graces of the WWE/HHH. Give him credit for trying but there's nothing good to be gained by bringing him back. He makes Matt Riddle look like Mother Teresa.

Velveteen Dream? Man he's still around/wanting to be around? Nah, I'm good, and I'm sure WWE & Endeavour are good.

It was damn good. HHH, Regal and HBK had that one cooking for some time I feel like. 

He's gotta nail the live show stuff but that was nice. I wonder if they have Ava Raine/Rock's daughter roll with him as some anti-2nd generation group down the road. 

This really sounds like the legacy gimmick he wanted to do with Hook and Gunns in AEW that Tony turned down.

Taker was cool with Rick & Scott Steiner for a while so wanted to give rub to their son/nephew. Don't think there was there's anything more to it.

That and Taker wanted to give WWE/HBK something for publicity. 

Hmmm it was cool how they panned to the entire audience having their cell phones out for Taker but I kept waiting for the purported big thing WWE was gonna pull out for tonight’s episode.
