Stand and Deliver was a night of monumental change for NXT. Carmelo Hayes, Indi Hartwell and the team of Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn all won gold. We'll see the fall-out of that and so much more on Tuesday.

The Dyad claim that WWE have denied their release, and will have to wait until October 23rd to leave. On separate posts they said the following

"As of today, WWE has denied my request for my release. I want to thank you all for your support throughout my career, I'll never take that for granted. My contract with WWE expires on 14th October 2023. I'm excited to share our next chapter, once we are free agents"

Hayes/Waller from last night's Spring Breakin' show was a great match-up.

A big night for the women as well, which is always nice, even if Tiffany Stratton didn't win the title.

Also, happy to see The Dyad sticking around, I know they're looking to leave, however, I'll take as much of them as I can get until then.

Dragon Lee versus JD McDonagh was a solid match.

Also, the women got a lot of airtime this week and I loved every second of it. NXT probably has my second favorite women's division (only behind Impact Wrestling), although, we'll see how things play out over the next couple of weeks, things might change depending on how things are handled.

I've loved what I've seen so far out of this Wes Lee/Tyler Bate beef with Drew & Dempsey. More of that, please.

I'm pulling for Tiffany Stratton to win this tournament, I think she'd have a great run as NXT women's champion.

Gigi vs Stratton rd 1 is really cruel, if you were going to break Toxic Attraction up, Gigi needed to be a bigger deal. This just smells like Jacy and Gigi will cost each other the opening rounds.

HBK is pushing really hard on Valkyria, this seems like she is getting to dance with Stratton in the finals. I agree that Stratton is ready to carry the division. She just keeps on getting better with more and more experience. I loved that she went out in the open and wanted to stay in NXT to get more seasoning, it is a huge ego check and realization to be out & open to admit it knowing you'd get paid more on the main roster.

Oh yea, looking at the brackets, the finals will definitely be Stratton/Valkyria and I'm all for it.

Her character translated to NXT UK. Where the fans didn't ALWAYS & ONLY say dueling chants ALL the time. I find the NXT crowd to be insufferable.

Yes! I believe Tiff is better than Mandy is at this stage & almost any in Rose's career besides the NXT title run. Stratton is just getting started. I think she has a chance to be a great babyface if they are ever curious & interested in trying to do that. Tiffany is very attractive & her recent bodywork enhanced that fact for sure.

I am getting more Charlotte vibes but without the issues. Her flat out saying she wasn't ready to go up to the main roster and wanted to carve more seasoning in NXT says it all. 

Stratton is stupid good, like some of the stuff she is doing in the ring is ridiculous, much less for someone with less than 3 years in the business. 

Mandy on her best day was never as good as Tiffany is in her rookie year. I never bought into whatever renaissance people say Mandy had in NXT. She stayed pretty one note throughout her entire WWE career.

Subjective for sure, but first-run NXT Mandy Rose was actually pretty good considering her inexperience. She was gorgeous Lady Hoss, who then moved up to main roster and rebranded as Sex: The Wrestler which, while a downgrade, was what main roster wanted and your boss may not always be right but the boss is always the boss.

Stratton is talented and has a good grasp of her character but what I'd like to see from her, and maybe what she's thinking she needs more seasoning with is

 - Can she continually tweak her character? 'Rich girl' is a fine starter gimmick but, like any act trotted out month after month after month, will eventually get stale and to stay relevant/a draw she'll need to refine it and move it in different directions.

 - Can she call a match and have solid, memorable ones that don't necessarily rely on athleticism? If she's gonna be out there month after month, along with the travel schedule, she'll want a wrestling style that is sustainable/presentable for the weekly grind but have a next gear for the A-list PPV's

You're underselling Mandy in NXT. Both Jacy & Gigi are directionless without her, she was a very good promo and was more than solid in the ring. Wrestling the WWE style of safeness and consistency, Mandy was good. It's the same people who give Miz shit because he isn't doing anything flashy.
