I feel like, if Mandy Rose wanted to be involved in wrestling again, a TA 2.0 would be a marvellous addition to AEW.

I thought Mustafa Ali being in NXT was wacky, I know they're free agents but still. A Serious Corbin is a great addition for NXT, they need buzz and a huge heel to do work in the division. I like it.

I've been reading all the Tiffany posts so I checked out the last couple of shows, and I'm with surrender, she's already better than Mandy ever was. Her inexperience still shows in areas like transitions between moves, but how she worked the Battleground match with the limb work was reminiscent of Reign of Terror era Triple H.

I was underwhelmed by her promo on tonight's show seeing as I've heard positive reviews of her charisma. She didn't breathe life into those lines at all.

I haven't seen NXT in any great detail in months, when did it get so goofy?

I'm convinced there were notes hidden behind the decorations, she spent a lot of that promo looking down at a particular spot and reading as opposed to delivering.

Which explains the odd pause mid sentence.

Good point on Stone. I was thinking this week (as he's arguing with that neanderthal looking chump) how is this guy not being utilised better / how is he still employed?

Good talker and he was a decent worker and he's just lumped with this orangutan.

I think as soon as Akwardfina started to not trend anymore, Wendy Choo sort of pulling off her began to fade. MUCH better than Mei Ling or whatever the heck that was but there's only so much you can do with this sleeping gimmick. 

A case could be made that it was the Choo Last Woman Standing match that really made Tiffany Stratton "it", that was her coming out party despite losing.

Fair, and a good reminder that this is after all developmental. She's done better in pre-taped/non live segments, gotta get out there sometime

Have you missed all of NXT 2.0 (post-Black and Gold, all paint splatter rebranding)?

This means, I'm assuming, that you missed the Brooks Jensen/Kiana James love interest angle and boy if you think Stratton was goofy

I was watching religiously up until made a year ago, and only sporadically since. It was definitely a change in tone from those final Black & Gold days, but still remained somewhat sensible. Like, it really feels like you're watching 'developmental' now.

The Ilja v JD matches I was super into, but I didn't really pay too much attention to anything else. I followed Waller's career closely too.

Maybe this batch lacks some refinement.

I have to wonder how long can a guy like Wes Lee be in NXT for? He's probably ready for the main roster, but isn't exceptional enough to really do anything of substance. A little like Johnny Gargano - NXT is the perfect place for him.

I still think the women's division can/will be pretty good.

Men's division lacks bite though. What NXT US has become is NXT UK more or less. Gallus/Ilja Dragunov/Charlie Dempsey/Nathan Frazer/A-K....Axiom/Tyler Bate. I don't mean this as an insult but it's like they took the remainders of NXT UK and thrown them dead smack over to the states with little to no familiarity with the audience that watches the show.

It's too many cruiserweights as well, not enough big men which is never a good thing. Very few big guys like Von Wagner, Odyssey Jones, The two new dudes(Tank & Hank), it feels almost 205 Live actually.

Wes Lee is a tag team guy who is missing his tag partner since he got blackmailed out of NXT. He feels like a poor man's Ricochet as a singles guy. At least as MSK he could mesh better but I know that's out of his control but this North American title reign feels more like a "Sorry" from HBK more than anything for him.

I also don't think Carmelo Hayes is an interesting character altogether, much less the champion of your brand. 

I think Trick is the bigger star, in the long run. Carmello is a good worker overall but is a foot too short to be anything great in WWE.

Like Wes, how long can Bate be in developmental for? If given the opportunity, he could out wrestle anyone on any roster. I'm surprised he's not man #4 in The Brawling Brutes, working as Butch's tag partner.

The next NXT women's champion, Lola Vice. Fans already chanting her name despite her never wrestling on Tuesdays, that says it all. 

Dani Palmer is another ex Gymnast turned wrestler, she is sort of like Sol Ruca actually. Probably why they click. She recently debuted after a few NXT Lvl Up appearances. 

I must say, Thea also has a nice butt. Hubba Hubba!

I knew Ivy Nile came from The Rock/Nick Khan's The Titans Games(She won Season 1) but I didn't know Jakara Jackson also came from that.



NXT women's roster is full of athletes man. Incredible stuff.

Lony surrender Quincy Elliott is back, it's Pride Month and she is going to get some push. NXT LVL Up is the start.
