One thing that has been evident from the start of the year is the significant increase in the amount of commercials and sponsors on premium Live Events, what are your thoughts?
I liked the tie in with The Pope’s Exorcist for Edge/Finn as it worked and didn’t detract from the match. The cinnamoji trust crunch or whatever it was sponsoring a match where a father and son fight was pretty funny though I thought the TurboTax commercial shortly after Roman Reigns went over lessen it a bit.
That being said US TV shows a broadcast a bit differently than in Australia, we don’t have stuff popping up on screen every 10 seconds during shows so was a bit jarring to me.
If the PLE’s continue to be complimentary with Binge/Peacock/WWE Network in the areas that still have it then I am perfectly fine with the sheer amount of advertising but if it goes back to a PPV model id like to see it toned down considerably.

I understand EAT THIS CEREAL the main purpose of WWE is WATCH THIS MOVIE to make money but USE THIS ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE it is WHATEVER DRAFT KINGS IS kinda annoying to get absolutely hammered NOW ITS TIME FOR CHOCOLATE with ads during these events.
Even the WWE games have advertising for Snickers in the in-game arenas and in the trophies. It's absolutely overbearing and just makes me want to avoid Snickers altogether.

Is Snickers the best sponsor wrestling has ever had? Or at least the most? Karate Fighters and Fruit Stripe Gum. Real ones know. Problem with ads today is they aren't read by Lord Alfred Hayes. Only thing more impressive than me watching Lord Alfred reading ads for 9:47 just now is the hero who went out there and put together 9:47 worth of His Lordship reading ads. Legends, both.

Literally one of my favourite things ever. My dad and I used to laugh our asses off at JR’s Skittles reads. And my friends and I would quote this at school. “Dude Kim looks so hot today.” “I know right? Fruity! DELICIOUS! SO HOT DELICIOUS SKITTLES!” I’m glad I’m not a huge nerd like that anymore. :suspic:
