Triple H's announcement on Smackdown tonight was that the WWE is going to have a draft in "a few weeks" and Cole said "a few short weeks."

Some things:

- All superstars are eligible.
- Triple H said that draft will truly change the game.

What is the point of the draft? Other than the tag & Women’s brand specific championships there is almost no sign of a brand split to begin with.

My first thoughts are that this is how they're going to do their returns & call-ups from NXT for the post-Mania reset. All the guys like AJ Styles, Ciampa, Shinsuke, etc... that have been out for a while, this is how they're going to re-introduce them.

I also think is his how most people are hoping this is Triple H's way of setting up brands that do have clear boundaries.

NVM. LOL.

Shinsuke is returning next week.

I dug the OG draft, it made sense after the Invasion story arc, these days I don't think it really works, but that's just me.

It's safe to suggest Judgement Day are moving to Smackdown to feud with lWo.

I'd almost assume Imperium are moving to RAW, as GUNTHER has pretty much ran out of people to slap the shit out of on Smackdown.

I swear every time The Street Profits are on screen, Dawkins has a look on his face like he knows this gravy train is about to dry up.

Montez is a superstar. There's no-one that big, and that athletic and full of energy like he is on any roster.

I would assume NXT gets purged with Creed Bros/Breakker/Hartwell(Short lived title run)/Cameron Grimes(Who has been held off)/The KCs all go up.

Likely this is a way to start to solidify the brands as unique products for the next set of TV deals.

IC/US titles will switch brands.

Lashley to Smackdown has a whiff of something for me.

The draft is set for April 28th and May 1st.

I hope Dawkins has a future after The Street Profits spit up. The guy is talented.

There is no way they can put that title on a face right out of jump. It will be the consolation prize of all consolation prizes. Mayyyybe Seth since he technically didn’t lose to Roman during this run.

But ideally.. this is an ideal time to go all in on a heel. I’m going to make a pretty bold prediction. Logan Paul. Put the belt on him and let him get a ton of press for it. Tote it on his pods. I don’t know what the circumstances of his new contract are but maybe they had something like this in mind for him. IDK.

I like the balls, but I think the new title has an uphill battle so if ever there was a time to play it safe, this would be it. You could certainly have Logan win it, but I think this is a title a Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley etc. win. Especially since this is meant to be the title that's defended on RAW.

Drew Mac might be leveraging the win for his new contract and I don’t hate it.

If rumors are true about him wanting more cash, Drew def is out of WWE. Doubt anyone is getting significant pay raises until the merge is complete.
