So last night I finished watching the American version of a show called Hunted. 

In a nutshell, random people go on the run like fugitives, get an hours head start and if they survive 1 month, they win 250k. A lot of the tactics used to catch them involved family, promises of cash to informants and social media. 

How do you think you'd go on the run for a month, not able to contact family, friends, needing to try and figure everything out, relying on strangers etc?

The key to this show would be to ditch the camera crew and refrain from hanging around populated areas. I have no doubt this entire show is faked.

I doubt it would be that difficult. Go bush, and have zero contact with the outside world.

I kept seeing the ad for the show during Raw (I assume you did the same Oncall ), and missing it out as i'm normally out Wednesday nights.
Caught the season finale, and thought it was quite interesting. I think accessing cash would be my downfall, i almost always use card.

Relying on family/friends seemed to be the biggest downfall of everyone on the shows, as everyone has a price.

I feel like Reality tv is the new wrestling, as it's kept pretty kayfabe to the general public despite some very obvious staging. I upset a co-worker 
once by implying the show was staged :lol:. 

My friend has a hunting cabin about a 3 hour drive east of the city I live in. There's no internet access or phone reception out there, it's stocked with supplies and fuel, and very few people outside my circle of friends know where it is.

I'd drive out there and live for a month, and hope none of my friends think to look for me out there or give me up.
