What are the most frustrating games you have played and/or the most frustrating moments you’ve had while gaming?
I’ve started getting back into Rust on console, nice relaxing game to Play after dealing with confrontational people all night. Other than Rust the usual suspects… Dark Souls, Sekiro and the DKC games.
As for moments, trying to catch a fish in Twilight Princess. I liked the Wii motion controls more than most but I was stuck on it for days as for whatever reason I couldn’t get Link to simply catch ONE FISH. After an embarrassingly long time it finally happened and I’ve seen others do it instantly

I refuse to replay Star Fox Adventures because of the trials right at the end of the game. The game is notoriously easy, but then right at the end of the game there's these mini-dungeons with one final puzzle at the end. It's usually some mini game that requires you to do something like button mash or keep the ball close to the centre of the bar while it becomes more and more sensitive. Nothing prepares you for it and if you fail, you have to start from the very beginning of the dungeon. Surely it's not as bad as I remember and I was just bad at the game, but that's one that comes right to mind. Rare seems to be really guilty of it. Jet Force Gemini has these really difficult flight simulator segments where you're on the clock and you have to earn a gold in order to progress the story. Similarly I wasn't a big fan of replaying the OG Donkey Kong in order to progress DK64. Tales of Symphonia has this one dungeon where you have to escort a bunch of shadows to the bottom of the dungeon. The issue is the AI is finicky so they'll get stuck on objects or they'll move so inconsistently you're constantly having to sit around and wait for them to reach you. The dungeon also over-stays it's welcome so the second part is just walking down winding paths and long staircases as the shadows do their thing. I've never enjoyed fishing in Zelda. Even in Ocarina, getting the heart piece and the gold scale is an absolute pain because you have to hope the right fish spawns and that it will actually take your bait. I never got the hang of the Wii Motion controls. Wii Sports used to drive me mad, especially Baseball where it seemed like I was on delay. Oh and also this...

God of War 2 is the most frustrating game I've ever played. I've literally broken a controller through anger. The game is generally quite fun and the combat is fluid but right near the end you start running through enormous gauntlets of enemies, it was very hard to get through it all without dropping a combo. Since there are so many enemies around you, dropping a combo likely meant death and doing the whole thing over again.

Crash 4.
I don't have any memories but any of those "great where am I supposed to go?" games always do it for me.

What are the most frustrating games you have played and/or the most frustrating moments you’ve had while gaming? Honestly the most frustrating moments were all those time my games glitched. NES was notorious for this. Feel like I spent half my childhood blowing into games that kept conking out. A few more... That time I finally beat a particularly tricky tower in Dragon Warrior 2 only to walk off said tower like an idiot and have to start all over again. Only person who wanted to kill me more than my brother was myself. Dumbest gaming thing I ever did. Biggest boner since Abner Haynes. Don't know what I was thinking. I wasn't thinking! Another would be the time I was FINALLY about to beat the mighty Amazons in Dusty Diamond's All Star Softball only to give up a walk off homerun with two outs in the bottom of the last inning. It was either the girl who swung a wand or the one with the boot. Jane or Judy...something like that. Can't 100% confirm I cried, but can't 100% deny it either. And finally the Darknuts guarding the whistle in Level 5 on Legend of Zelda used to drive kiddie me crazy. Took me FOREVER to get the whistle. Which means it took me forever to get through Level 5 since you can't beat the one-eyed buzzsaw Digdogger without it. Funny thing is those stupid Darknuts became pretty easy later on (much like the Amazons in Dusty's).
Most frustrating game might be this Intellivision stinker called Vectron. I never figured out what to do! Yes, I had a game I had no idea how to play. My brother finally figured it out....a good 15-20 years after we first upgraded from Intellivision to Nintendo.
