I kinda feel like the ref should have been miced up while explaining the stip, just for the benefit of the live crowd who was otherwise sitting there hearing nothing

i am not at all sure at this stage in the game that anyone really wants to see fake MMA in their WWE when real MMA is readily available

To each their own, and usually I'll never trash someone for trying something new, but it does still need to be done well and fake-MMA seems like it's really hard to pull off.

The hardest thing, I'd think, is trying to make it still look real. It's the issue you'd have with boxers being told to punch during a wrestling match; clearly you don't want to hit them full force for realsies so you have to punch full force but pull back at the last second but you still need to look like you're striking them at max impact but of course you're only grazing them

and yeah, especially with people who MMA for real they're trying to rewire their brains to make it happen and I don't see it ending well

Anyone could have sold out MSG in that era. He was harder the attraction some , including himself make him out to be. Certainly not enough to deem him the goat.

I thought it was sweet and the pre-match promo was actually really good too. However Ronda's return has been so disappointing and Shayna came in during the pandemic so that hurt it. Plus faux MMA just doesn't work in an arena show, even when it's done well.

It's like Malenko/Benoit at Hog Wild. Plenty of good work, but just didn't work in that environment.

Aside from Finn getting the run he missed out on seven years ago, Finn winning the belt, while looking over his shoulder constantly at Damian is a much better route to go.

Don't even need Priest to cash in on Finn, have Finn lose the belt down the line and Priest immediately cash in and win it. So Finn has to deal with losing the title, but can't challenge Priest similar to how Priest didn't cash in on him.

I just think it’s dumb that she’s allowed to assault her with a briefcase (or anything for that matter) and then cash in with Bianca down after what is typically a disqualified move.

And it makes no sense. It essentially implies that the MITB holder could and SHOULD just attack a champion any time they are in the ring , beat them unconscious with a chair THEN cash in and win. Why wait ever?


I wouldn’t mind if the champion was at least allowed to get to their feet after the briefcase is handed in.
