Looks like Jeremy Borash has joined the Evil Empire. Is there anyone left in TNA these days other than Abyss?

This is the most shocking TNA signing thus far. JB seemed like the type of guy who would go down with the ship and would be in TNA to turn the lights off. I'm glad the WWE see some value in him and hope he's given a fair go in whatever capacity he's signed in.

I see him working as a host on a Network show. If he had his own version of the Spin Cycle, it would be welcome content.

And with this, TNA has officially died.

can he replace Michael Cole please?

Eventually everyone realizes that there is no future in Impact Wrestling or whatever they are currently calling themselves.

Can't say I blame him, kinda surprised he stuck around this long.

This really is one of the more surprising pieces of wrestling news in a long, long time. As Pete said, Borash really was the heart and soul of TNA, he literally did every non-wrestling role in the company from writing, to commentary, to interviews, to ring announcing. I especially love the image of him cuing up entrance music on his laptop whilst ring announcing at house shows - a great metaphor for his work ethic set against TNA's cheapness - he deserves a nice payday as much as anyone.

I wonder what role they'll have him in. As ordinary as the WWE announce teams are at the moment I don't think he'd really help matters there - an interviewer/host/PPV pre-show hybrid would probably be the best.
