Damn Dax working British style o.O

Dynamite Kid shows a ton of promise. He cannot fill that mantle yet, but he is looking like a solid Brit style wrestler like his uncle. I imagine at least American Dragon will want a match with the kid, but def can see Tony signing him. He got the crowd behind him, and did a lot of the DK trademarks. Some Owen Hart ones as well. With one major difference, he does an elbow not the headbutt from the top that likely scrambled his uncle's brain. Really felt like this was a trial by fire match that he did step up to.

The bad blood must run deep for WWE to not have grabbed him.

Riea fought Nyla Rose and Nicole fought Athena.

Fell asleep during the show so catching up on the results. Edge turned the Black match into a barbwire cage match o.O


Also off air fan ran into the ring after the Garcia match and had to be tossed by security.

If ROH was more of an after thought it would be nice if he joined them there full time. They could have a really sick lightheavyweight/lucha division like WCW did if they wanted to.

So, what we thinking after last night? The Righteous and Lance Archer lost, but the beat down after the match saw FTR left lying in the ring with Vincent shouting "The job is done!"

Daniel Garcia made the save this time instead of Darby Allin, but he was late getting there and couldn't stop them from taking out Dax & Cash. What are the chances FTR is forced to drop out of the match and Garcia & someone else take their place? Or is this just a "we kicked your ass a week before a hardcore match" type deal that is supposed to give the bad guys an advantage?

Part of me thought Garcia was going to turn heel again and join The Elite, but he's pretty over so that might not be a good idea. There's still time though. Maybe he interferes in the match?

I loved the Bang Bang Gang showing up with an unconscious PAC right after that promo. All in all they took up like 3 minutes of air time and got their feud across in the best way possible. These are the little things that AEW does so fucking well when they actually try to tell a story. PAC cutting a cocky promo backstage saying "make me care," to BCG, then being dragged out onto the stage unconscious during their entrance moments later was so perfect. This is who Jay White is and he will go juuuust long enough as a chicken shit heel to make you forget, then pounce when you least expect it. Keep doing that with Jay White and BCG forever and you will have the best heel stable in the company for years to come.

I went back and watched Ospreay vs Taylor because I missed it but it was worth it. Excellent match. People need to put more respect on Shane Taylor's name. Every match he has had in recent months has been good to great.

Then later on you have Kyle O'Reilly vs Lee Moriarty and that match was fucking dope as well. Get Anthony Ogogo back in full form and give them a trios match at Wembley. You won't regret it.

Only other main highlight of the night for me was Shibata vs Romero. This NJPW fan loved seeing them do their thing, even if that match will be lost on a lot of fans. I really enjoyed that. I also liked how the FTW title gauntlet was presented. Just rapid fire match after match to get their qualifiers in, with their entrances mixing with the post-match stuff. That really made it feel like a big deal heading into Wednesday, like none of these guys could wait to kick someone's ass and fight Chris Jericho. Simple and effective way to build a title match that nobody would care about otherwise.

No it is not an eliminator, he just…has a title shot…after losing his own midcard title 6 days ago.

I am fine with the match because it will be good and Roddy has been a solid competitor, but can we PLEASE never mention rankings or win/loss records ever again? Just book good stories and good matches and leave it at that. Why complicate things?

Should be a good episode tonight. It's the 1 year anniversary of Collision and it looks like a fun card. PW's very own Raven will be in attendance too!
