Well, with Christian trying to insure himself of no contenders, I imagine we're gonna get a trio of trios in a Trios Title match for All In. Yup. Christopher Daniels gonna show up next week and make it so.

Rosa/Perroza was a lot of fun for being a bullrope match. The mark in me is insulted she's on Collision (super attached to anyone I enjoyed from Powerrr, YEAHHH) but that was still a solid outing.
For being their C show, it was way more entertaining than I expected. Also, consider me an Outrunners fan now: good men do still exist!
EDIT: Forgot to praise that killer Trios main event. HoB rules.

Collision is the B show. Rampage is the C show. And usually Collision is pretty good. Dynamite books with A and B cycles, but Collision is book consistent. This was an above average show though with that bullrope match added. Trios main event with BCG is like a Collision staple though.
Rosa redeemed herself completely for me with that bullrope match and the amazing promo after.
Not sure what got into Black, but he looked the best I ever seen him on Collision. Thinking he is putting on a show now for his students as so much was just super crisp. And I am all for it. Others in that trios match always bring their A games. Even when Buddy was asking for his release he was going all out.

Claudio vs Lio should be fun. Also one of the few guys who likely can take Claudio's UFO. Not sure if that is entirely retired or not, but not seen it in a long time as few can take it. Imagine we get a popup uppercut, another Claudio trademark we do not get to see much these days.

Guess Dustin is retiring soon so they’re going to try and elevate the Von Erichs and reinvent Sammy before he goes. I dunno.

If Sammy is working shows with Banks, then one of his major issues seems not to be real anymore. Feels like tribalists are trying to make the Banks vs Sammy shit a thing when neither of them really seem to give a fuck themselves.
Rest of his problems were with Matt and Jeff, who are no longer with AEW anyway. The Sammy being a diva stuff with Eddie BCC gave him receipts for and now is long in the past.
I imagine Sammy stays where he is. Tay likely to return sooner or later as well given the girls all seem to still love her.

I am talking about the fact that Sammy Guevara has gone through the same routine since joining AEW: -show up -get pushed -fans reject him -disappear This is like the 6th or 7th time he has returned and been pushed immediately and/or won a title. Why would it work this time? “THE SAMMY PUSHING WILL CONTINUE UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES”

He needs to be a heel. "Look how much fun we're having!" babyface Sammy sucks and the team up with Dustin feels forced anyways. Outside of MJF or the Bucks, he's always had the most punchable face in all of AEW. Others in that trios match always bring their A games. Even when Buddy was asking for his release he was going all out. Just recognized this the other night looking @ timestamps and realized I had goofed up lol. Didn't Rampage debut first? I think that was the source of my confusion and hadn't realized they had switched levels, Collision is basically brand new to me.

A twisting neckbreaker yeah final reckoning isn't the same as a twist of fate but close. Then to end after a Swanton bomb. It feels like poking at the hardys some.

Couple Collision spoilers that I accidentally came across thanks to wikipedia/twitter: The fourth team in the Ladder Match on Sunday will be PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta. They defeated Top Flight & Action Andretti on Collision to qualify for the match, a match that was announced during Dynamite last night that I totally missed.
Christian Cage comes out and congratulates the winners, who are then attacked by Nick Wayne and Killswitch. The other two teams involved eventually join and the show ends with all four teams in the ring beating each other up.
Also not really a huge spoiler but apparently Big Bill is the most over person in Wales and his match with HOOK is worth watching just for the crowd reaction.
Seems like the hot crowd and high energy carried on right through Collision in Cardiff and is worth the watch. I was going to watch either way but that makes me excited.

Absolutely packed Collision tonight. Really good episode, but the tired crowd really showed (Collision was taped after Dynamite, crowd sat through 4+ hours of TV).
Highlights:
-Hangman vs Jarrett delivered, of course. Straps were used, Hangman got his ass kicked but a low blow + Deadeye later handed Hangman the win. After the match, Bullet Club Gold tried to help Jarrett to his feet, and Hangman took offence, hanging Juice over the top rope with a strap. Gunns chased him off, and it looks like Hangman has found his next target. Hangman vs Juice on the Dynamite 5th anniversary show this week.
-Triple Threat Lucha match was wild. Lots of fun. In the end, Hologram got the win and just when Dralistico & Mortos were going to come to blows, RUSH intervened and the three of them did the LFI pose after RUSH headbutted Hologram.
-Saraya vs Hayter was a lot of fun. Lots of tables. Harley Cameron did a table bump and it didn't break and it looked like it fucking hurt. Hope she's ok.
-Chris Jericho pinned Mark Briscoe in the trios match. Jericho told the camera that he wants the ROH World title now. So there's your next defence for Briscoe. THANKS GUYS!
-Jack Perry's open challenge was answered by Minoru Suzuki. Suzuki did his usual shtick of looking invincible and laughing at everything Perry did until Perry turned the tables with an outside DDT and eventually won.
-Wheeler showed up to defend his Trios title alongside Claudio & PAC. Match was meh but the finish progressed the story nicely. Yuta almost lost his cool and eventually won the match with a Cattle Mutilation on Marc Quen while Claudio & PAC smiled on.

6 inches.
Given the lift kit Darby wore so he could look like a threat to Mox, he'll need a 6" gum boot to avoid a nose to nipple stare down with King.

Had to watch the November Rain tribute, if only as a show of solidarity despite being out of the loop for a few months.
To beat a dead horse, the company is so close to figuring this out it's painful. There's something there with Moxley-OC and the whole heart of the BCC storyline can be traced to Yuta's defection to BCC. That's the entire pulse of the feud. However since AEW have been dancing around it the drama just isn't quite there.
So you play November Rain, and if you've seen the ECW music videos when you play the song to striking imagery it leaves a fantastic impression. The problem is, the feuds don't really have that imagery so instead you have these psycho-babble promos drowning out the song, exposing just how threadbare a lot of this stuff is.
It reminded me of those fan edits you'd see of the modern era set to the Attitude Era theme and it just doesn't hit the same. It seems like Tony was pretty proud of it if he went out of his way to advertise it. That or he wanted to get his money's worth from the license. Either way, it should be a learning experience that we need more visuals, we need more sound-bites, we need more long term booking and better character development.
It wasn't horrible, but it was a B- when you could have easily got an A+.

I think it was a massive missed opportunity that tried to do too much, attempting to highlight everything happening in AEW at once.
The main, or lead storyline - Mox v OC should have been the sole focus of the video. The Hardy Boys, E&C and The Dudleyz didn't sell WM17 - Rock v Austin " My Way " did.
AEW lacks longevity in their storytelling, it lacks star power and, even these two for lack of a better word lack " aura " that made me sick using a Gen Z word...
A tight package here could have changed that.
To give you a WWE example, you could have used November Rain to sell Reigns v Cody I, and used 3 years of Bloodline storytelling to put over Reigns for who he is, and Cody's story and the eventual worlds colliding and it would have been epic.
The point being, given BCC and DeathRiders isn't new, they should have shown the how and why we have gotten to this point and used every available clip with someone putting over OC as this heart and soul type of babyface to sell him as a legitimate contender.

If you're going to pay homage to ECW, either do it properly or not at all. The ECW videos just let the visual and the music do the talking, having guys cut promos over the top of it just makes it into a regular TV package.
I get that they couldn't go all the way and include clips from the November Rain music video, but surely you can just include some crazy high spot visual to remind people of how awesome your performers are.
It's just little things with AEW. They have some awesome performers and they cater to fans, but they're not good at promoting themselves and their orbiters make things worse.
