Wikipedia nazis deleted every wrestler's signature moves/finishers from their pages and made that an illegal thing is one of those things that really makes me think the whole internet is a giant dog turd. The whole tech is overrated monkey shit, shit just vanishes all the time, including entire websites/forums without notice.
This kinda killed match writing for me. I need that resource.
So can we start a project to compile our own database? Or is there another one out there? The wrestling wiki page somebody showed me only has signature moves for a few wrestlers, not every wrestler page has their moves. I want to start one for my BOTB roster on a notepad file, just alphabetically list my guys and their signature moves/finishers by their names. So if you are bored and you can think of a wrestler and their moves paste them here and I will add them to my file, maybe we can post it up here and keep adding to/editing it. Just an idea for a project we can all chip in and work on over time together, chime in with ideas or resources for this as a group fan fic effort lets put our brains together and fight Wiki-nazis for the greater good of fan fiction wrestling.
Also what if we all write a letter to Wikipedia about this and how stupid it is?

I can say I greatly enjoyed that feature of wrestling pages. One of those little things like how every wrestler's page keeps a record of any hair vs. mask records.

I noticed all that data is still there if you click back through the edits far back enough. That shit needs to be restored. Absolutely ridiculous that they would just cut valuable relevant info like that for no good reason other than somebody being a petty little cunt. And then have the gall to ask me to donate money haha.

And then think of all the work it took to meticulously go through every page and cut that info, jesus somebody up there REALLY doesn't like pro wrestling. Must be an MMA guy.

It would be like the equivalent of making it illegal to list filmographies for actors on their pages, as if that info was somehow doing damage to Wikipedia by existing on those pages, since you know it's not a movie website and there are other sites that cover that info.

I feel your pain bro but the link rad posted is about 95% accurate. Not as easy to navigate as wiki but still very solid. For a while there I was spinning when wiki deleted those sections. I have no idea why they did that. It was like 80% of the reason I used wiki in the first place.

Pro Wrestling Wiki is a shell of what all signatures/finishers Wikipedia had, a lot of wrestlers on my roster don't have anything listed. I think we used to have a file on the old PW with a list of wrestler moves? I remember it used to always be in the OP of the fed thread, did nobody ever save that? I'm pretty sure I have it on my old laptop that I retired one day I will try to find a power source or battery for that thing(some fo the key's got wore out, the E, C, and W, for some reason, and hinge on the screen broke so it's barely hanging on by a thread).

Here is Juvy's signatures and finishers from a 2017 Wiki page:
Finishing moves 450° splash[2] Final Justice (Pumphandle lifted and dropped into a knee strike to the face)[16] Juvi Driver (Michinoku Driver II, sometimes while using a wrist-clutch for extra leverage or from the top rope)[2] Juvi Lock (Over the shoulder single leg Boston crab) Somersault leg drop Signature moves Air Juvi[1] (Suicide dive to the outside, sometimes by using aided elevation off the back of a crouched wrestler) Diving hurricanrana[1] Frog splash[1] Juicy Elbow[1] (Running delayed high-impact elbow drop, with theatrics) Powerbomb[1] Pumphandle sitout facebuster[1] Sitout crucifix powerbomb[1] Sitout facebuster[1] Springboard dropkick[1] Tornado DDT[1]
Wrestling Wiki only has the 450 and Juvy Driver, just doesn't work for me brother. I'm starting a petition for Wiki to put the moves back on wrestler pages, I expect everybody's names on it

All Elite MovesA pretty cool site, with the finishers and signature moves (alongside gifs), of past and present AEW talent, definitely something worth checking out.
