Kelley: Welcome to the kickoff of Season 2! We’ve got two action packed games for you today. Both games are taking place in the Western Conference! That means lucha rules apply for tags and a twenty count on the floor. First, the Atlanta Dream are taking on a brand new team in the Las Vega$ Buck$. Then, two stalwarts from Season 1 go to battle as the Philly Revolution take on the LA Demons. Let’s send it to the new Western Correspondent, Ian Riccaboni.
Pre-Game
Atlanta Dream (0-0) at Las Vega$ Buck$ (0-0)Riccaboni: Thanks Cathy! Today, we’ve got some great action.Dustin Rhodes is here with the Atlanta Dream to take on Eric Bischoff’s Las Vega$ Buck$. Eric, it’s your first game, and you’ve got the home field advantage. You get to choose your trio first.
Bischoff: Thanks, Ian. As you all know, trios matches are most popular in Mexico. It’s known for high flying, so that’s what I intend to give you. My trio is going to be “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay, Black Taurus, and Komander.
Dustin: Well, I’m not going to lie. We prepared for some combination of United Empire, but you do underestimate the power of an established team. I’m confident the House of Black will pick up the victory. One area where I think I missed in the draft is getting a great tag team. My brother, Cody, is confident he can help me establish a tag team. Tonight, his partner is Ricky Starks.
Bischoff: Brock Lesnar was hoping to tear Cody up tonight, so that’s disappointing, but Aussie Open will have a fine time getting the win. I need to officially say it, but my single’s star will be Brock Lesnar.
Rhodes: That is EXACTLY who Samoa Joe has been preparing for.
Riccaboni: There you have it. The teams are set.
Atlanta Dream (0-0) at Las Vega$ Buck$ (0-0)Riccaboni: Ian Riccaboni here with Don Callis and Wade Barrett.
Barrett: Very tough trio here with House of Black. They’re going to be hard to beat.
Callis: Black Taurus and Komander have a great understanding of lucha rules. I think they have the advantage.
Riccaboni: It’s time, gentlemen. Let’s see who will score the first points of season two.
Trios Match

House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) [Atlanta Dream] versus Will Ospreay, Black Taurus, and Komander [Las Vega$ Buck$]Komander and Buddy Matthews start the match. Komander manages to evade Matthews' early offense. After ducking a big lariat, he ascends the ropes where he tightrope walks until Matthews pushes him off the top rope to the floor. Ospreay knows that counts as a tag and hits a springboard forearm on Matthews. Ospreay gets in control of the match, and he’s dominating. He hits a springboard handspring enziguri before landing a superkick. Matthews rolls to the floor, and Brody King attacks Ospreay from behind. He uses his size to dominate him. Quick tags to Buddy and Malakai leave Will in a bad way. The crowd gets behind him, and he tags in Black Taurus. Brody demands to be tagged in, and the two big men go face to face. They exchange hands before Matthews sneaks around to take Komander off the apron. Ospreay hits Buddy with a corkscrew splash on the floor. Malakai hits Ospreay with the Black Mass and throws Komander into the ring. King takes Taurus and himself over the top rope. Black and Komander are legal. He hits the Black Mass again.
Winners, House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) [Atlanta Dream] 10 PointsRiccaboni: Well, that’s certainly not how the Buck$ wanted to start their season.
Barrett: I have to say Dustin Rhodes may have had a point when he said they couldn’t beat an established team.
Riccaboni: Well, now we’ve got Aussie Open in the tag team match, so we’ll see if they can pick up the win.
Callis: I hope they do otherwise the Dream automatically wins it.
Tag Match

Cody Rhodes and Ricky Starks [Atlanta Dream] versus Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) [Las Vega$ Buck$]The referee calls for the bell, and The Miz and Matt Cardona walk down to the ring. Cody Rhodes goes down to the floor to tell them to go back, and Kyle Fletcher does a top rope crossbody onto all three men. Mark Davis attacks Ricky Starks from behind bringing him into the ring. Jeff Cobb comes down the apron to check on Fletcher as Miz and Cardona look like they’re about to attack. The referee comes down to get in between everyone, and Dustin Rhodes also comes down. Jeff Cobb sneaks away to throw Cody Rhodes into the stairs. The referee doesn’t see it, and everyone leaves the ringside area. Fletcher and Davis are double teaming Starks using quick tags to keep him down. A bloody Cody pulls Ricky out of the ring, but Fletcher dives into both of them. He throws Starks back into the ring, and Davis hits him with a piledriver.
Winners, Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) [Las Vega$ Buck$] 15 PointsRiccaboni: Cody Rhodes was never legally in the match!
Barrett: The momentum of that entire match was eschew from the moment the match started because Miz and Cardona had no reason being down there.
Callis: If I’m Dustin Rhodes, I’m reading those guys the riot act at practice this week.
Riccaboni: Well, gentlemen, it’s time for the main event of this game. Who’s going to walk away with 20 points?

Samoa Joe [Atlanta Dream] versus Brock Lesnar [Las Vega$ Buck$]The two behemoths move slowly toward each other, locking eyes. The crowd is silent to see who will make the first move. There is some soft trash talking that can only be heard by the two men. Joe steps back and slaps Brock on the chest as hard as he can, and the Beast is incensed. He lifts Joe up in Fireman’s carry, but Joe wriggles his way down. He jumps to the floor, and he begins to take a lap around the ring. Brock comes after him, and Joe breaks into a run. He slides in before Lesnar and begins throwing some stomps on the Beast who’s trying to get back into the ring. Joe locks on a headlock and tries to keep Brock on the ground. Lesnar scrappily fights his way up, and Joe sends him into the ropes before catching him with a powerslam. He goes for the pin, but Brock kicks out at 1. Joe is overcome with a look of concern. Brock picks him up and hits an F-5. He shakes his head before grabbing Joe by the hair and hitting a second. He picks him up for a third. Lesnar taunts the crowd as Samoa Joe is being checked on by the referee. Brock slowly walks over to Joe who rolls to the floor. Brock laughs and tells the official to count him out. Lesnar jawjacks with the crowd until the referee gets to eleven. Brock yells at the official in confusion. He grabs him by the collar until the official threatens to disqualify him. Finally, Brock goes down to the floor, hits Joe with a fourth F-5, throws him into the ring, and pins him.
Winner, Brock Lesnar [Las Vega$ Buck$] 20 PointsPost Game
Atlanta Dream (0-1) at Las Vega$ Buck$ (1-0)Callis: Don Callis back here with Mr. Eric Bischoff who just picked up the first victory of the season.
Bischoff: How awesome was that? I wanted a clean sweep, but that was still awesome.
Corbin: You should’ve played me instead of Lesnar.
Bischoff: Why? He won.
Corbin: He almost got disqualified. Brock Lesnar is a liability.
Callis: I’ll let you deal with that, Eric. Let’s send it to Wade Barrett who’s with Dustin Rhodes.
[The camera cuts to Wade Barrett in the Dream locker room.]
Barrett: Dustin, where did it go wrong for you?
Miz: Hold on, COACH. I’ll tell you where it went wrong. It went wrong when you didn’t play the Most Must See Champion in history.
Starks: What I seem to think happened is, we didn’t even get a chance to get started because y’all came down before the match event started.
Cardona: You were getting your ass kicked the entire match. How would you know?
Starks: Two on one because you let my partner get taken out!
Dustin: HEY! Cody, you wanted these three. You said you could make a team with one of them. It didn’t happen tonight. Next week, you get another chance.
Barrett: All right. That’s it for this one.
Kelley: Tough loss for the Atlanta Dream. Now, let’s send it to LA where the Demons are hosting the Philly Revolution.
Pre-Game
Philly Revolution (0-0) at LA Demons (0-0)Riccaboni: Ian Riccaboni here with Paul Heyman of the Philly Revolution and MVP of the LA Demons. When these two teams faced off in Season 1, LA picked up the win, 30-15. MVP, you have the home field advantage. You can announce your trio first.
MVP: I just want to say that while I wasn’t the head coach of LA Demons last year, you’ll notice most of my team looks the same while Heyman’s team is totally different. I’ve got youth and ambition in my trio as a man who was on your team last year, Powerhouse Hobbs teams with The Acclaimed.
Heyman: You’re right, Montel. My team is 100% better than last year. You want Power on a team? How about Solo Sikoa, Big Bill, and Brian Cage? Then, in my tag team match, you will witness the greatest brother tag team in the history of the professional wrestling industry, Matt and Nick Jackson. Jimmy Uso, I want you down there to observe a truly great brother tag team.
MVP: I don’t know what kind of mind games you’re trying to play with your own team there, but my team is the Lucha Brothers, and you can bet all of Death Triangle will be out there. Then, the man that sealed the win for the LA Demons last time we faced off will be back in action, Bobby Lashley.
Heyman: Give me a break. He’s no match for Roman Reigns.
Philly Revolution (0-0) at LA Demons (0-0)Riccaboni: Ian Riccaboni with Don Callis and Wade Barrett once again.
Barrett: Ian, I know you’re new here too. Don, how are we able to be in LA and Las Vegas in the same night?
Callis: Magic kid. Magic.
Riccaboni: Don’t think about it too long folks. Let’s send it to the ring!

Bill lifts him up by the hair and whips him into the corner. He begins to utilize a series of quick tags with Cage and Sikoa which leave Caster in a bad way. Sikoa goes for the Samoan Spike, but Max breaks loose. He hits a vertical suplex before dashing to the corner. He tags Hobbs who comes in and takes Sikoa right down who rolls to the floor. Bowens jumps down to check on his partner when Hobbs is looking for a tag. Cage attacks Bowens from behind. Sikoa tags in and hits Hobbs with the spike.
Winners, Solo Sikoa, Brian Cage, and Big Bill [Philly Revolution] 10 PointsCallis: If Anthony Bowens had been there for Hobbs, they might’ve been able to stay alive in the match.
Riccaboni: Bowens was checking on Caster, and-
Callis: Caster wasn’t the legal man! Who cares?
Barrett: Big bundle of compassion there, aren’t you, Don?
Tag Team Match
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) [Philly Revolution] versus The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon and Rey Fenix) [LA Demons]The official calls for the bell, and Jimmy Uso reaches under the ring grabbing a chair. He unfolds it to sit down ringside. Matt and Fenix start the match. They lock up, and Fenix uses his speed to get control of the match early on. He hits a springboard crossbody to Jackson, and he gets a near fall early. Jimmy shakes his head. Matt rolls out of the ring to signify a tag, and Nick hits Fenix with a flying clothesline. Fenix rolls to the floor, and Penta comes into the match. He uses his size advantage to get control of the match. He delivers a scoop slam before going for the pin. Nick kicks out, and Penta applies a chinlock. Jimmy gets the home crowd clapping, and Nick manages to get loose. Pentagon hits him with a stiff forearm before going for the Fear Factor. He tags Fenix, and they hit the Fear Factor Double Stomp Combo. Fenix goes for the pin, and Matt pulls his brother out of the ring near Jimmy. Fenix hits a suicide dive taking all three men down. Penta comes out and throws Matt back into the ring. He goes for the pin. Jackson kicks out! Fenix tags in and heads to the top rope, but Jimmy slides into the ring and catches Fenix midair with a superkick!
Winners, by disqualification, The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon and Rey Fenix) [LA Demons] 15 PointsRiccaboni: Jimmy Uso just ruined what should’ve been an historic match!
Barrett: And he cost his own team! Paul Heyman isn’t going to be happy.
Riccaboni: They could still win the match, but Jimmy costing his own team was a bad move.
Callis: He did it right in front of the referee.

Roman Reigns [Philly Revolution] versus Bobby Lashley [LA Demons]The match starts with posturing from both men. There’s a bit of a pose-down. When Lashley realizes the Tribal Chief has turned his back on him, he attacks him from behind. Lashley uses his freaky power to throw Roman around the ring. Reigns rolls to the floor before Lashley can go for a pin. The official begins a count out, and Reigns is walking slowly around the ring. After fifteen counts, Bobby goes down to the floor, breaking the count. He runs toward Roman who evades him and sends him into the ring post. Reigns postures some more before throwing his opponent into the guard rail. The official tells them to get it back in the ring when Reigns throws his shoulders under the ropes to break the count. He throws Lashley into the stairs. Bobby hold his shoulder in pain, but he’s still trying to get space between them. Reigns spears him into the guardrail spilling into the timekeeper’s area. Roman then goes into the ring where he instructs the official to count Lashley out. The Tribal Chief begins celebrating, but Lashley gets back into the ring at a count of seventeen. Reigns shakes his head indicating that was a mistake. Roman goes for the Superman Punch, but Lashley moves. He suplexes the Tribal Chief. He goes for the pin, but Roman kicks out. Bobby stays on him and hits the Dominator, but Roman kicks out. He gets up and signals for the spear, but Reigns rises slowly. Roman catches Bobby with a Superman Punch to the injured shoulder.
Winner, Roman Reigns [Philly Revolution] 20 PointsPost-Game
Philly Revolution (1-0) vs LA Demons (0-1)Barrett: Wade Barrett here with Paul Heyman. Congratulations on the first win of the season.
Heyman: What’s to congratulate? It should’ve been a sweep, and it wasn’t.
Jimmy: He got in my BUSINESS.
Heyman: You cost your team.
Jimmy: We won, didn’t we?
Heyman: We should’ve CRUSHED them.
Jimmy: I don’t got time for this.
Barrett: Let’s send it to Don Callis.
[It cuts to the LA Demon locker room.]
Callis: Not a promising first week, MVP.
MVP: We clearly have some kinks to work out. Lashley gave it everything he had, and I’m proud of his performance. I think the Lucha Brothers were on their way to beating The Young Bucks whether they won by DQ or not. As for the trio, that one hurt.
Billy: If you would’ve let me team with them-
MVP: Stop trying to make excuses for them, Billy. Their coach gave them an assignment, and they failed. You’re not the coach. I am.
Kelley: Wow. Two intense games today to kick off the second season. Thursday, we see the all new Daytona Beach Degenerates host the OKC Cowboys. Then, we head to Houston where the Houston Heat host the Second City Saints.
