Pistons mortgaged their future for Mr. Glass. They didn't have much of a future anyways. At least this made the deadline interesting.

Newsflash: LeBron is still really, really good.
Type of win that could turn things around for the Cavs?

That was a fun game, no defense but lot of offense there.
Well, the trade deadline is today we only got a few moves a week, or two weeks ago the Blake Griffin trade, Niko was traded to Pelicans for a draft pick, and some minor deal. Wonder if D. Jordan is going to be traded? Wouldn't surprise me he stay with the Clippers for the rest of the season, and get dealt this off-season. Personally, I like to see him traded to the Bucks, I think he will fit perfectly for that team.
Some other players possible on the block such as Tyreke Evans, George Hill, T. Thompson, JR Smith, Shumpert, Robin Lopez, Justin Holiday, J. Grant, R. Hood, and Joe Johnson. Wouldn't surprise someone like Joe Johnson might be on the buyout market once the trade deadline passed.

I like the Cavs roster now more than I did before, it’s pretty impressive how they sent out nothing that has been of real consequence to them and got back Nance, Hood and Hill who could all have a good argument to start for the team and who should play plenty of minutes in the playoffs.
I just don’t think remaking a roster in February is a great plan, especially on a team with a coach that doesn’t make many strategic choices and has an aversion to practice. I’d still favor Boston over them, but I at least give them a punchers chance with the best guy in the series.

I think the move the Cavs make is enough to at least get to the finals but not enough to win the title. They really need to make moves, and they sure did they pretty much revamp almost the entire roster so there will be probably a chemistry issue though for they got what? 2, or three months before the playoffs to get things clicking.
There are lot of potential buyout candidates this year possible signing a playoff team...
Derrick Rose----Reports with the Wolves are interest in him Thibs want to reunited with Derrick Rose since actually last season, and there maybe a chance to reunited with him. Playing as a backup I think will do some good for Rose but again if Teague goes down well get ready Rose will play heavy minutes. A few teams I could see go after Derrick Rose are Thunder, Rockets, & a surprising team 76ers. For the Thunder Rose and Westbrook are good friends a few times in the offseason they work out together in LA, and some other players too wouldn't surprise me that Rose sign with the Thunder for the remainder season which means possible push Felton as the third point guard unless they decided to play him at the two. Rockets, they need a backup point guard for Chris Paul, while Rose may, or may not fit the team well but as a backup role he will be fine with a reduced role, and minutes. The 76ers while they have Ben Simmons play point forward, and only have two point guards adding Rose for a late playoff push may do some good in short term yeah I know Rose isn't the same player like he was after all the injuries he have to do but it is only for a remainder of this season so it is a low risk, high reward type of thing for the 76ers.
Jarrett Jack, or Ramon Session------The Knicks traded for Muniday so they got four point guards I figure Jarrett Jack, or Ramon Session will be a buyout candidates.
Joe Johnson----------Reports that the Celtics, Warriors, and Thunder are interest in him which Thunder are in favor of signing the vet once he get waive.
Jokiam Noah----------He isn't traded, and he have friction with the coach. I don't the Knicks, Noah, or both will come to an agreement for a buyout but we see. If he did get a guy out you would think a team like the Wolves will be interest in Noah have him reunited with Taj, Jimmy, and Thibs maybe Rose too. He was one of my favorite bulls player pretty sad that he is broken physically I love to see him go sign a contender, and become a ring chaser. Doubtful but it will be cool to see him reunited with Horford sign with the Celtics but now the pick up with Monroe unlikely.
Tony Allen----------He was acquire from the Bulls last week in a trade, and very unlikely he stay he will very likely getting a buyout. Reports that the Thunder are interest in him which made sense with the loss of Robertson, and even if they sign Joe Johnson they needed depth badly especially at the two. Another team I could see going after is well the Cavs they needed more defensive player and adding Tony Allen for depth purpose will do no harm. Maybe return to the Celtics wouldn't surprise me either.

I don't know if anyone else listens or watches Jalen & Jacoby. They always bring up this talking point about players They say you can't be a bust when you make massive amounts of money. saying guys like Darko and Anthony Bennett are good players it's such false equivalency strawman garbage. No fan that knows the slightest thing about basketball would ever compare themselves to players by saying they're as good or better than them. When most people call players scrubs it's a relative comparison to other players. l find most of Rose's analysis to be garbage and lacking the nuance which is funny considering he rails against hot takes.

Okay, that was an awesome All Star Game. They nailed it with the new format. Great D to end the game for Team Lebron.
I also want to say I went 5 for 5 this weekend. I picked Team World, Dinwiddie, Booker, Mitchell and Team Lebron. If I was familiar with posting text messages, I so would show you me picking them in a text with my cousin Thursday night. I’m not even joking about this. I feel like a psychic right now. I just had such weird feelings about Dinwiddie and Booker and absolutely nailed them. I thought Team Lebron was about to mess up my perfection, but they made a huge comeback to help me make this meaningless to everyone else post.

Honestly wasn't sure about the format but that game was tight. Also adding charities money on the line to the mix helps a little trying to get your charity a little bit more money. The final 5 minutes were pretty well defended.

With two days left in the regular season, every seed has been clinched except for one.
Coincidentally because sports are awesome, the Timberwolves and the Nuggets are both competing for the final spot in the Western Conderence and have the same exact record ANDDDDDD face each other tomorrow!
Win or go home. We get a sudden death game in Minnesota for the final spot in the playoffs. Sports are awesome.

Lakers brought up this guy Andre Ingram, who had spent the last ten years in the D/G League, and he fucking stole the show last night against Houston. 19 points (11 of which were in his first 6 minutes of playing time) and shot 4/5 from 3. I just thought this was absolutely incredible.
