On Sunday, every wrestling fan's wet dream came true.  As Shinsuke Nakamura won the men's Royal Rumble, and challenged WWE Champion, AJ Styles for WrestleMania. 

These two had a classic for the ages the last they met in a major event (2015's Wrestle Kingdom).  And now, they will get the chance to do it all over again.  This time, on the biggest stage in wrestling.

But that's still two months away.  As for tonight, Big Blue's build to WrestleMania begins.

I love this promo. They need to keep this kind of promo for Shin.

Shinsuke needs a manager, not his fault but there’s only so much you can do with his English.

Some main event for next week. KO vs. Zayn.

Fast lane will be a meh ppv as we knw Styles is not losing the title

Could they have Cena challenge taker at mania there. AFAIK Cena will actually be at fast lane ??

Can Tyler Bate change his ring name? It sounds so awkward and always gets him confused with Tyler Bates.

Thoughts:

• I absolutely love how legit the Usos come off these days. They always had tons of talent but didn't really come across with the full package because of their slightly goofy gimmick/look and inconsistent booking. Their promos are fantastic and full of hype, and their ringwork is super entertaining. Genuinely one of the best parts of WWE.
• The women's segment was really good. Ruby is a good promo (I always have a soft spot for when heels make perfect sense and faces prove them right) and Carmella's teased cash in got a great
• I really like the new selfie promos they've started to do. Genuinely feels like a fresh take on presentation. Everyone seems a lot more comfortable this way rather than bouncing off a wooden interviewer (Renee obviously excepted).
• The Owens/Zayn tension is about as good a mini-storyline as they could come up with to fill the gap at Fast Lane when we all know that AJ's obviously not going to lose.

That's the ideal role for Spud I like it.

I still feel like Cedric should get a free pass to the finals of this tournament and the winner of the tournament should win an opportunity vs Cedric for the vacant belt.

I mean, Enzo screwed up...Cedric shouldn't have to wrestle his way back to the top spot.
