How are ya nerves Big Pete Lony . The rumors might be friggin' true. Lets go baby, cannot wait for tomorrow. That infamous Nintendo leader led us right last time around, he/she has a lot riding on this one too. This can enshrine you forever as a reliable GOAT or a fluke. The Switch 2 was supposedly shown off at Gamescom behind closed doors, was being bragged it is as strong as the PS5(Remains to be seen, that is a massive jump) but I doubt we see new model until 2024 at the very least. All about the software and if this is the final batch of games the Switch pumps out, it's going out swinging. This console has brought the faith back of the gamers from Nintendo's perspective, after the Wii U debacle, this could have went hella south very fast. The concept of a remote console was considered looney upon the introduction but Nintendo made it work. GIVE ME F-ZERO AND DONKEY KONG OR GIVE ME DEATH

Yea, I need a new Donkey Kong game, it's been forever since we've gotten a new one. It's really the only franchise missing from the Switch (not counting the Tropical Freeze port, although it is a fantastic game).

This show felt more so like Nintendo is holding their further big guns for the new system.
F-Zero 99 is cool I mean but I think people were hoping for more, and how long will this last for given these past 99 games were only temporary.
Another Code is super cool though, oh the Vanilaware game could be promising. The Peach game might be decent if it isn't a Minigamefest.

It reminded me of 3DS circa 2017. A couple of ports, remasters and some niche titles to send the system out on a high note. Not exactly a newsworthy stream, but I've always felt like if Nintendo wanted to ship a lazy million units, a TTYD port was just the ticket. I'm surprised it's coming out so soon after Mario RPG, I presume that's a Q1 2024 release at worst I could see it as a May release. Regardless, I'm excited for it and I'll definitely pick myself up a copy.
Luigi's Mansion 2 is in that Kid Icarus: Uprising boat where it's just been begging for a proper port. I'm curious to see if they'll change the entire structure of the game to make it more seamless as opposed to the chapter select feature. That was always the one down-side on what was otherwise a really good game that gets slept on much.

I've got a big bowl of homemade mac and cheese, and I'm about to start up this Nintendo Direct, so here are some random thoughts.
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong? It's not the Donkey Kong game, I would have liked to have seen, but I'll take it.
- The more I see of this Prince of Persia game, the more I want to pick it up.
- Untitled Peach Game officially has a title (Princess Peach Showtime).
- The original Tomb Raider series coming to Nintendo Switch? I'm not sure if I'll get it, but that's pretty cool.
- Contra: Operation Galuga coming to Nintendo Switch next year. I'm a big fan of the Contra series, so this is a must-buy.
- I love the Luigi's Mansion series, I would love to see an updated version of the original game as well.
- F-Zero 99 looks like it would be chaotic but a lot of fun to play.
- Holy shit, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door coming to Nintendo Switch, they saved the best announcement for last. I've played a total of two Paper Mario games, Origami King and the OG one on the N64 app, from what I hear this is the best Paper Mario game.

I know there have been rumors of Nintendo's next console coming out in late 2024, but at least the wait will be made easy, with what's to come. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Castlevania Advance Collection (physical release) Catquest III Contra: Operation Galuga Detective Pikachu Returns Double Dragon Collection Gargoyles Remastered Gex Trilogy Hollow Knight: Silksong Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Mario vs. Donkey Kong Metroid Prime 4 (if it even releases on Switch at this point) Mortal Kombat 1 Neon White (physical release) Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Penny's Big Breakaway Pikmin 1 + 2 (physical release) Pokemon Scarlet DLC Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (looks interesting enough) Princess Peach Showtime Professor Layton and the New World of Steam Sonic Superstars Super Bomberman R 2 Super Mario Bros. Wonder Super Mario RPG If 2024 is the Switch's swan song, then I've got plenty games, to look forward to playing.
