First off, I want to apologize for the delay in getting this posted, usually, I get it up before the month starts. Of course, with that said I'll be looking to get the following point at some point...

Detective Pikachu Returns (NS)
Gargoyles Remastered (NS) - Maybe
NHL 24 (PS4)
Sonic Superstars (NS)
Super Mario Bros. Wonder (NS)

I already picked up Detective Pikachu Returns, I just haven't started it yet.

You don't have to apologize Lony, always look forward to these monthly thread regardles of when they come! 

This is the month we as gamers have been waiting for.

3 big games I have preordered already, in order of hype

1) Spider Man 2: This is Insomniac's next big game, they are easily Sony's best studio(IMO). Add that this already has the marketing of Sony as the real lone big full fledged game this year for them and yeah, this game should be a killer. I platniumed the 1st Spider Man and while I didn't do it for Miles Morales, I had a good time with that one too. People were making a bit of a buzz about this being at best 30 hours long to do everything but that's honestly not the end of the world as long as the game is great from start to finish.

2) Super Mario Bros Wonder: It's 2D Mario, how can you mess that up? The perfect balance to the big open world blockbuster feel of Spider Man 2, I am going to enjoy playing 2D Mario via Switch portability while watching NFL on Mondays/Thursdays/Sundays as Spider Man 2 hogs up the rest of the time. When it is all said and done, I feel like this will be the best Nintendo exclusive of the year for me(I didn't finish Tears of the Kingdom sorry -_-)

3) Sonic Superstars: Most months, this my most anticipated game but this is a meager no.3/bronze finish. It's 2D Sonic, how can you mess that up? Have such a good feeling about this one too, another one I got for the Switch so it's going to come in handy for it's portability. It coming out a few days before Mario is pretty important too, I wonder how much meat is on this game. It's a full price game so you have to have something here.


Alan Wake 2 due to it being digital only will be a game I get on sale down the road. Victim of the games coming out this year, nothing more, nothing less.

Insomniac yet again ladies and gents. None better, best studio Sony has. Cannot wait for this weekend. 

As I said, cannot wait for this weekend. Two GOTY candidates coming out on one day.

Not as good as these two but if you like retro sonic, it's good. I've beaten the 1st 2 worlds, this is a supposedly short game so IDK at $60 bucks, def. worth it at like half off so maybe a black Friday play soon. 

Probably the final review posting but super happy for Remedy, underrated group who really needed a high score for Alan Wake 2. Makes them bringing back a decade old IP warranted. Won't play this off the go but good to know they seemingly nailed it with this game going off general consensus. Going from a suspense thriller where gameplay takes a back seat to the story to a survival horror action game is a huge leap but seems they landed their feet here.
