I didn't get a Switch at launch, but pretty close to it. I bought a knockoff Pro controller and has been the only controller scheme I've used. I've never played it on anything but normie mode. Started noticing the trigger buttons giving me issues during my DKC trilogy playthroughs if you wanna understand how often I was rewinding. The right one kept getting stuck and if I shook it I could hear loose pieces fighting amongst each other. Had a few games I wanted to play and hesitated because there's no way to play Splatoon without those shoulder buttons. And honestly since Nintendo never discounts their games (I think some stores still selling the Mario 64 DS for MSRP LMAO) I wasn't really trying to fork down 60. Don't get me started on MK being 70.
Yesterday I bought a new Pro Controller. Another knock off brand, but it feels SEXY with the silver shiny chrome buttons. I wanted an official one, but no workers around to unlock it and the MadKatz style immitators are $10 cheaper and I can buy it without needing 7 employees to turn their keys simultaneously? Obviously. Been playing Splatoon with it for a bit and now I have the unenviable task of burying my friend. Lasted several years as the primary bread winner. A few rage tosses (not many) probably did the damage rather than the CHEAT CODES. Still you held on as long as you could and I probably could've played Scarlet/Violet with you, but alas your retirement is here.
Thank you NYX for all the memories. When you cross the rainbow road bridge just remember all those corded controllers couldn't imitate a fraction of your power. Rest in Power friend. But not for much longer since you no longer are getting a charge...
That said Target is a GOLDMIND for Nintendo plushies. Surprised I resisted the Snorlax or Red Koopa Shell...
