For the first time since it came out... I saw a PS5 in a store. Probably won't be there if I go in prepared to purchase it, but man it was like finding a Tickle Me Elmo or the Stone Cold bone crunching buddy the day before X-Mas.

Now can buy one just in time for the PS6 to get announced <.<

I do wonder with so few exclusives, what is the point?  Xbox has more games and Game Pass.  As a traditional sony fan since the original playstation, cannot really see why I would want a PS5 now.  Even their exclusives seem to come to PC.

I've seen them a few times, out in the wild here and there, but I don't think I'll ever get one. Honestly, when it comes to gaming, especially with two young kids, Nintendo's consoles really are the perfect gaming systems.

For kids Nintendo is fine. For adults, why get a PS5 when you can get an XBox and use Game Pass? Like I was not an XBOX guy but the value cannot be denied for that Game Pass program with AAA games being added day 1. And seems far more exclusives on XBOX than Sony.

I never really think it's necessary to get one right away. Bugs and no games and all. Plus they were releasing stuff on PS4 as well (Miles Morales). I wanna play the exclusives (Ratchet, SM2, GOW) but other than that I don't feel like I need it. The switch games in the same realm are usually enough for me with gaming being less important to me over the years.

They've been readily available for the past year or so down under.

PS5 has better exclusives and a better backlog of games when you factor in PS4 compatability. Plus, the PS5 has a bigger install base so you don't have to worry about whether a game has cross-play support.

This is how I officially knew the UAE was a rich country when they had multiple PS5s on display and in stock last year :lol:
