And based on the background picture, it looks like it may take us back to Vice City.

I would say so, it's GTA 6, it should generate quite a bit of discussion, one would think anyway.

Never played a GTA. Maybe this time, assuming I have the right console then.

No shot this is Cross Gen, especially if it's 2025. I thought Rockstar would cave in for PS4/XBOX ONE versions but alas. Also wonder if Switch 2.0 or whatever is strong enough to have this game. 

I just wonder if what we see here is on base PS5/XBOX Series X or if this is based off the Pro models of the two which are (rumored) to come out in 2024. 

Hate to be the odd one out on the hype train but man, I just wish Rockstar would go back to making more game instead of banking on this big one that will ultimately be more about milking the whales to buy more Shark Cards. Just reopen Rockstar San Diego and let them handle some of the smaller projects and mayhaps some better remakes (not those garbage GTA ones). I'm really missing Bully and Midnight Club.

As for the trailer, not really seeing much here that I don't see in a GTA Online update trailer. R* can make trailers for sure but ultimately looking forward to seeing the gameplay trailer instead.

I'd kill(no pun intended) for a Manhunt remake in 4K 60 FPS, no shot we're ever getting this but I can dream.

Big Pete is the only sheriff in this town, but in my opinion it's threadworthy.

66 million views in less than 24 hours for this on Youtube by the way, and this was sudden because a leaker leaked an underscaled, watermarked version of the trailer on social media so Rockstar said "Alright hold my beer" basically. Will be multiple trailers.

A lot of people praising that Rockstar didn't follow a trend of "uglifying"(As some say) or "toning down sexiness from women characters" in this game as this game is really portraying the South Miami beach scene to a tee. Need to see gameplay as G/B said but yeah this game as soon as a date is mentioned for 2025 I assume will have everybody else clearing the way to not get their games swallowed up.

I assume Insomniac's Wolverine is 2025? If so man that year is going to be a killer.

If you're locked behind bars for so long, you will get frisky the moment you're out. Not sure if Rockstar is ready to 1-up The Last Of Us 2 with sex scenes but you never know.

TBH I should have been on this when Punk'd first brought it up. If you ever find yourself asking whether a topic is thread worthy, the answer is always yes.

The trailer was perfect, they really captured Miami well and if the trailer was hint at what's available like driving in a hoverboat in the boonies I don't think I'll need another game till 2028.

Can't go wrong with Tom Petty either.

Had to look at Lucia - Blindy how do you think gamers will react if Lucia turns out to be trans?

Rockstar hasn't let me down yet, other than abandoning single player expansions or the character and literal assassination of poor Johnny Klebitz, so I'm definitely hyped.

Groups already saying they will not play it. Elon Musk said he dislikes games where people are mean to cops, and his fanboys are trashing the GTA games now.

Think this is the first game to really justify the next era of consoles. Clearly taking full advantage of the increased power.

The trailer looked incredible. Looking forward to all the wildlife. The attention to detail is awesome. The beach filled with pedestrians looks like areas that should be heavily populated will be, which is a criticism in past games.

If all or most buildings have an accessible interior that will make the wait worth it.

I'm glad they don't rush these games. It looks incredible. Of course, we need some gameplay clips to really see how crazy it likely looks.

Storyline. I don't care. A game like this, more so, an sim like this requires some deep exploration.

oh. And trust me, like all GTA games, I plan on doing some bad shit.
